Breaking out from your cover, you sprint your way towards him. Well, as much as you can in chainmail. You've done enough Speed training where this manoeuvre is even possible, but you're still way slower than normal in this. You can't really dodge either -- he gets two shots off before you reach him.

The first blunt bolt hits you in the side of your shoulder. The **** behind it shocks you a bit, but thankfully your chainmail's strong enough to take most of the hit for you. The second shot goes wide -- ha! Looks like he needs more practice.
