Run away from the Pub

Without thinking, Mark panicked and began to run. Macca and Matt did the same, all three boys began to jump over the small barrier of the outside area of the pub.

On his way to do so, Mark pushed away one of the bouncers in his exit path.

They all bolted down the street with two or three bouncers chasing after them. Macca was loving it, he was out in front sprinting away laughing his ass off. With the speed he had, there was no chance anyone was catching him. He left them in his wake.

Matt and Mark weren’t so lucky, they were running as hard as they could down the footpath but the bouncers were gaining ground.

“Fuck!” Matt yelled, puffing as he ran.

The further they ran, the closer two bouncers got to them.

Mark was struggling to breath, he was extremely unfit right now, especially after downing a few beers.

Looking behind him as he ran to see the bouncers still keeping up with them, Mark thought they were no chance.

The bouncers wouldn’t be the ones to stop them though. Out of nowhere, two police officers blocked their way and the two boys came flying into them.

Next thing they knew, they were being held down as the bouncers explained to the police what had happened.

“It wasn’t us! We were set up by the Aussie!” yelled out Matt on the ground.

“Oh shut up Matt!” Mark replied, not wanting him to get them into any further trouble.

The police officers then helped them up and explained that they were required to follow them back to the station for some questioning.

It didn’t take long, they were lucky not to be charged on the bases of public disturbance or public drunkenness.

As they stood outside the station, it was already dark. Once again, Matt’s phone rang, it was Cassidy.

“Just answer it this time. I’m not walking home.”

Matt was very hesitant but he knew he had to do it now. He knew his girlfriend was going to be pretty annoyed to have to come all the way to the station to pick them up after he ignored her calls all day.
