Run Into Some Old Acquaintances

In the end, you decided on going to the Prenatal Class. If for no other reason than you could do any of the other things later, BUT you had no idea when the next one of these classes would be. Besides, if you were being honest you were trying to NOT think about your condition because every time you did you were overwhelmed by what you didn’t know. You hoped this would help with that. It wasn’t like you could talk to your Mom about these things. Well, you TECHNICALLY could but you weren’t going to. You and her were not exactly on speaking terms at the moment.

“You know you don’t have to come Blue.” You just hadn’t expected that Blue would want to come with you.

“What, and let you out of my sight?” In fact he had insisted. “I’m not having you run off on me again.”

You can’t help but sigh. Apparently, Blue was worried that you would run into ‘another Melody’ and disappear on him. Now THAT was a thought, running into another Melody. You doubted that you would run into someone else like HER. But you had hoped to maybe make a gal pal. Little chance of that with Blue hovering around you like an anxious Growileth.

Making it worse, you were positive that Blue wanted to ogle the other pregnant women there. Which would probably drive away any potential girlfriends. “Just please, please, be on your best behavior.”

Blue tries to look innocent as he says, “Cross my heart Amber, I will be on my best behavior.”

You don’t really believe it and you don’t bother trying to hide your doubt. But Blue just smirks in response. But with a sigh you accept that there isn’t really anything that you can do to stop him. Resigned, you open the door and step in, Blue right behind you.

You and Blue are not the first people to show you, nor are you the only couple to show up, to your surprise. But your focus is immediately drawn to a pair of Pokémon Trainers, a couple that you recognize. A boy and a girl that you battled, and were defeated by, in Viridian Forest.

They don't seem to have noticed you, because they are talking to each other and haven’t looked in your direction. You feel Blue’s hand on your shoulder and notice that his trademarked grin is gone, replaced by a strangely emotionless face.

Well shit! Maybe they won’t remember you? Or cause a scene? Shit! Will Blue cause a scene?!
