Rules for Battle Royale (non story)

Competition outline

This is just some detail on how I'm writing the battle Royale competition for anyone curious. To avoid my own personal biases a little bit at least I'm using dice for a lot of the actions.

First each player is going to leave the cabin in the center of the island on a flat plain. To the north is a small mountain. To the east is a swamp. South and West are forests. All around the island are beaches.

The island is divided into 9 zones on their maps.

1-2 mountain

3-4 beach

4-7 forest

8 swamp

9 central plain

Each girl will pick a direction to go based on the roll and I'll add the narrative to justify it after.

I used random list generators to pick the order the girls get released and their starting weapon.

Each time I switch POV each character gets a roll for events

1 really surprised by another player (-5)

2 surprised by another player (-3)

3 neutral meeting with another

4 surprised someone else (+3)

5 really surprised someone else (+5)

6-7 Find Trap

8-9 Find Item - Useful

10-11 Find Item - Nonsense/Joke

12 Find Weapon

13-14 Food (high quality food)

15-16 move into new area

17-20 Finds a good shelter

If two players enter the same region they roll 1 to 6. Same as 1-5 above except 6 is don't encounter at all.

When two players meet I'll roll a D20 for each of them and add a modifier based on surprise. If they don't have a viable weapon they can run away by winning roll.

A 1 will always fail and a 20 will always succeed, otherwise higher roll wins.

I'll also use the random numbers for determining which areas will be prohibited, and all characters will try to leave if they can.
