Ruby and the Doctor go on holiday

Ruby Sunday was naked.

She had finally convinced the Doctor to take some time off from adventuring and take her to an intergalactic holiday resort. Just because she had the ability to go anywhere in time and space didn't mean that she didn't want to relax by a pool every now and then.

Ruby had hurried excitedly to the wardrobe, and with the Tardis's help, set about choosing what to wear. She had set aside her clothes to allow the time machine to scan her bare body, which then provided her with several options to peruse.

While the cavernous rooms were usually quite chilly, the TARDIS was keeping the temperature at a pleasant one for someone dressed in their birthday suit, so much so that a single shiver didn't pass through Ruby's body.

The teen walked up and down the aisles, her breasts bouncing in response to her movements, ready to quickly pull something on should the Doctor make a sudden appearance.

While Ruby didn't mind being naked, she wasn't comfortable being nude around other people. Indeed, she'd already been left red-faced when he'd caught her skinny dipping in the swimming pool, and they'd had a long conversation about privacy the third time he'd nearly walked in on her in the shower.

Eventually, Ruby picked out of white bikini; she slipped her legs through the bottoms and secured the top around her chest. She settled on a pair of denim shorts and a loosely fitting t-shirt, completing the look by slipping her bare feet into a pair of flip-flops.

Scooping up a towel and a pair of sunglasses, Ruby made a beeline for the console room.

"What do you think?" Ruby laughed, giving the Doctor a twirl.

"You look perfect, babes!" he said, half-distracted by whatever he was reading on the monitor.

"Come ON, Doctor!" Ruby pleaded, physically dragging him towards the doors.

"Are you sure this is the one you wanted?" he asked, locking the TARDIS behind them.

"Of course it is!" Ruby laughed. "Come on, let's go!"

The Doctor shrugged as he followed Ruby towards the main entrance. He was pretty sure that Ruby was from the 21st century, when public nudity was still to be widely accepted; and yet here she was, excited to be visiting a resort which promoted nudity.

But he must have been wrong. After all, he'd done so much traveling, that he was bound to get his dates mixed up sometimes.

He was pretty sure that Ruby knew he'd seen her fully naked, which made her freak out in the shower all the more puzzling.

He shook his head and smiled to himself. Humans could be funny sometimes.
