Ruby Believes Jaune.

“I can’t believe something like this is real!” Ruby exclaimed, as she stood in front of the mirror wearing Jaune’s shirt and pants. She kept twirling around and then peaked into Jaune’s part of the closet. “And all my outfits are in here now! How is this possible?”

Jaune was laughing at her reaction. To his surprise, Ruby believed him about the remote being magic. The reason: There had been no reason to lie to her about it. She merely wanted a demonstration. Jaune decided to try the Wardrobe Swap option and the two of them swapped every article of clothing instantly. Ruby went from wearing her normal a black long sleeved dress with red trim on the sleeves and skirt, a black waist cincher with red lacing up the front, a pair of thick black stockings and black combat boots with red laces, and her signature red hooded cloak to simple pants, sneakers, and a t-shirt.

Jaune, on the other hand, was now wearing her outfit.

He saw what he looked like in the mirror and damn. Coco’s body looked amazing in anything. Ruby periodically kept turning around and snickering at him though. Even though his body was Coco’s, everyone saw him as Jaune who wore male clothing. Now that he was wearing female clothes, it was funny. Well, no one else besides them would find it funny, as Ruby had been touching the remote when Jaune swapped their clothes.

“Can you change us back?” Ruby finally asked.

“Sure.” Jaune hit the reset all button and suddenly he found himself in his own body and clothes, while Ruby was now back in her clothes. “Oops, sorry. Forgot you need to touch the remote too.”

“Everything seems okay,” Ruby informed him and looked down at her clothes. “No harm done. Just remember that next time, okay?”

“I promise,” Jaune answered. So everyone considers things normal after a reset? “And an Arc never goes back on his word. Next time we use it, we will both have fun.”

“Best friend ever!”

“So what now?” Jaune asked. “I’ve tried everything except Life Swap and Personality Swap.”

“Hmm,” Ruby mused. “Life Swap lets you live as someone else, rather than just swapping bodies?”

“That’s what the guide says,” Jaune confirmed. “Not sure about personality. Will I even notice? Imagine if I swap obsession with homework in Weiss and refuse to admit I did.” Ruby laughed and then shivered.

“No way. Nuh uh. Do not use that function on Weiss.” Ruby held out her hands and shook her head. “Maybe we could swap lives for a day to see what it’s like?”

“That’s an idea,” Jaune said slowly.
