What's next?
Tell Ruby About the Remote.
“What?” Weiss stared at him with her arms crossed. Unfortunately, she answered the door instead of Ruby. She stood there in the Beacon uniform, not having changed out of it yet.
“I need to speak to Ruby about…” Jaune hesitated a moment. “About a few things for our leadership class.” As he and Ruby were both team leaders, they had additional classes. Weiss didn’t know about their homework or what they were covering.
“Really?” She raised an eyebrow skeptically.
“Yeah.” Jaune nodded. “It shouldn’t take long, but better get it out of the way early so we have the weekend free.”
“Tsk.” Weiss clicked her tongue. As much as she didn’t like Jaune, she wasn’t childish enough to ignore a good point. “Fine. Hey, Ruby!” She called over her shoulder. “The dork is here to ask something about your leadership class homework.”
“Jaune?” Jaune was actually hurt Ruby knew it was him by Weiss’s insult. “Homework? Wha-…”
“Yeah,” Jaune interrupted. When Weiss looked away from him, he shook his head frantically as a sign to Ruby. “Part of it is tripping me up and I could use some help.”
“Ah!” Ruby exclaimed, catching on. “That’s right. The professor assigned it at the last minute, I almost forgot.”
“This is why you write things down,” Weiss scolded.
“Sorry,” Ruby apologized. “I’ll remember. Let me grab my stuff and I’ll meet you in your room.”
“Got it. Thanks, Ruby.” Jaune replied. Little did Weiss know, there was going to be something else happening instead of studying. Nothing sexual of course.
“If that’s it,” Weiss stated. “You can go.” She closed the door in his face.” Jaune sighed and went back to his room, to be joined a minute later by Ruby.
“Thank you so much, Jaune!” Ruby cried and hugged him. “You have no idea how mean Weiss was just because I got a C in history.” Her tone grew higher and colder. “You have to set an example. You’re a leader. You have to get A’s!” Ruby sighed. “You would think I’m not a person or something.”
“She’s just trying to help you reach your full potential,” Jaune reassured her and then grimaced. “She still doesn’t like me.”
“That could be the fact you embarrassed her by asking her out all those times,” Ruby pointed out. “Or you’re not that high up on the combat ladder or grades….”
“Thanks,” Jaune muttered dryly.
“And then your breasts are also larger than hers,” Ruby finished, pointing at Jaune’s chest. “Don’t tell her I said this, but she’s really self-conscious about it.”
Jaune blinked in surprise.
For the first time, someone actually pointed out a difference in his new girl body. However, they didn’t consider it strange. It was nothing unusual to them. Jaune appreciated the information.
“So what you want to do for an hour?” Ruby asked. “I doubt we could sneak down to Vale tonight, even being Friday. Weiss would have my head if I tried to leave. I have an hour at best.”
“Who’s the leader of your team again?” Jaune teased.
“Shut it, Vomit Boy,” Ruby replied affectionately, using his nickname.
“Right back at you Crater Face,” Jaune replied and the two of them laughed. “Well, I actually have something I want to show you…”
It took a while to explain, even with the guide.
A. Ruby Believes Jaune.
B. Ruby Doesn’t Believes Jaune.
