Ruby, Maybe

The bottom of the stairs opened out into some sort of laboratory.

The walls were still the same cold stone they had been along the stairs, but the room was full of bright computer screens, each one near a large see through chamber, black bubbles ocasionaly floating up through the clear fluid.

I made my way through the room, stopping as I reached the chamber at the back of the room

The red sequin leotard Ruby had been wearing during our show was draped over the computer screen and this chamber, unlike the rest, had someone floating in it.

The form was completely cocooned in black latex, making it impossible to know for sure if Ruby was inside.

Examining the little control panel next to the chamber, I could see that it had an opening the same size and shape as the Redheads necklace.

Unable to shout, I slammed my fist down on the table in frustration

Suddenly, the computer screen started flashing and the clear liquid in the chamber started bubbling angrily

Whipping the sequin leotard off the screen, I could see the readout

Clicking away and searching for some way to stop whatever I had triggered, all I found was something referencing ''Lunar dependant activation''.

Making my way back to the main screen, the readout was still there, ticking away
