Rowlet

"You may have chosen Rowlet, " says the kahuna, "but it must choose you in order to truly be partners." He then puts the other two back in their Pokeballs.

On the big stage where the deciding moment begins, people watch in awe in seeing if this Pokemon will partner up with you. "Let us see if little Rowlet there also decides to choose you!" announces Hala.

You bend down as if waiting for hug from Rowlet. Rowlet stares at you with a studious look, as if trying to figure out what kind of person you are, and if you'll be a cool Trainer. Lillie watches nervously, while Professor Kukui relaxes, as if he is sure Rowlet will choose you.

Rowlet then flies closer to you with a smile on its face, and then you lift Rowlet gently with your arms! Everyone cheers and claps and smiles at this amazing moment. Rowlet hoots happily, either because it's happy to be with you, or it feels ticklish.

"Ho ho! Little Rowlet has accepted you as well," says the kahuna.

"Now that you both accept each other, you guys'll be friends for life!" remarks Kukui.

"Nice to meet you, Rowlet!" says Lillie happily. Nebby squeals happily as well beside Lillie. Lillie notices Nebby out of the bag and is shocked.

"Nebby, when did you get out again?" asks Lillie, "I know that Kahuna Hala and the professor will keep you safe from harm, but you should still stay in the bag and out of sight. It's safer that way." She turns to you. "I think you chose a wonderful Pokemon. Please take very good care of it."

"Now that you've got a Pokemon, you're a real Pokemon trainer, yeah!" says Kukui, "I have some gifts for you to help make it special, cousin." He hands over a Trainer Passport and a Pokedex.

"A Pokedex is a real high-tech kinda tool, yeah, that can automatically record facts about any Pokemon that you meet," says Kukui, "Your new partner Rowlet is already registered, so check it out when you can! You should introduce Rowlet to your mom, [insert player name here]"
