Rovni finds a surprise

Rovni held her group of goblins a bit further back than she needed to, hunched in the grass just beside the worn in road to the farms buildings and had waited for a long while for the rest of her horde to encircle the farm.

"You six hold here and only move in on my order, I am going in now." Rovni ordered and the six nodded their heads and without further orders laid themselves flat in the grass and waited for her orders.

Rovni pulled her dagger out and knowing that if there were dogs she had not seen on her scouting expedition than she would be found soon enough and ran quickly into the cluster of buildings and hunched down at a fence near the simplest looking building, just a long rectangular lodging.

Waiting with her breath held in for a dogs bark Rovni waited but never heard one and breathed a sigh of relief.

Slipping over the fence Rovni moved up to the door and heard at least a couple people sleeping in the building, and with no lock on the door, slunk into the building and was met with the sight of four single beds, two along either side of the building lit by a dying fireplace.

Looking carefully, Rovni confirmed that they were all men and realized that these were probably farmhands, Rovni moved to the first one without a sound and lodged it into the mans skull with all her might.

The sound of breaking and crunching bone disturbed the other men in the cabin and Rovni lodged her dagger deep in the throat of the man across from her first victim and as the two other men rose, still half asleep and unaware of what was truly occurring.

In one fluid movement Rovni had marched forward and pulled her axe from her belt, swinging through the first mans neck completely before bringing her axe back around and throwing it deep into the second mans head, who slumped back.

Rovni waited for a second, and heard no commotion from any other buildings and retrieved her weapons, confirming that there were no other people in the building Rovni left and made her way to the next.

Probably the most fancy house on the farm, made of wood and stone with several rooms from what Rovni could tell, presumably this was the house of the farm owners and Rovni grinned, this was where good stuff was and no doubt where the raid would truly begin.

The door to Rovni's displeasure was locked and so she used her weight and pushed against the door and after a few seconds a light popping sound filled the air, followed by one short, sharp snap, she had **** the door and snapped the wooden doors frame on the inside.

With a light creak the door opened to the hallway of the house, each wall flanked by a few doors and Rovni could still hear snoring, she had alerted no one, or at the very least not everyone.

Creeping in with her dagger our Rovni stopped at a door she heard light snoring coming and slipped it open, what greeted Rovni was the sight of a younger woman bound by ropes on her hands and feet, curled up on a pile of hay.

Rovni noted her thin ragged clothes and how little meat was actually on the woman, it was not hard for Rovni to realize that this was a **** girl and for a moment Rovni thought about what to do, she was in no shape to be a whore for her horde, but perhaps she could still be useful.

Kneeling down beside the woman Rovni shook her awake and as the woman's eyes snapped open Rovni covered her mouth and spoke lowly, "Quiet girl, shout and I will kill you, tell me what is your name and what are you on this farm?" And with that Rovni slowly removed her hand but held her dagger up to make her warning clear.

The woman looked at Rovni in fright for a moment before speaking, "V-Vera, I'm just a ****, I do what they tell me." Vera spoke quietly, clearly waking up and fully grasping the situation she was in.

Rovni grinned and replied, "I am chieftess Rovni, my horde is to attack this farm, if I free you you work for me for the time being okay, but not as a ****." Rovni promised and Vera looked at her in horror before taking a deep breath and nodding.

Rovni made short work of the rope and pulled Vera to her feet, towering over the woman who seemed to shrink at the half-orcs full height.

Rovni held her dagger out to Vera, "Take this and do not leave my side." Vera took the dagger and flinched as Rovni pulled her axe out and walked out of the room and headed for the door outside.

With Vera hot on her heels Rovni moved into the middle of the buildings and braced for the raid to begin, her goblins needed to prove themselves as well and still sleeping foes would serve as a fair fight.

Into the barely brightening sky Rovni roared, "GOBLINS, WE RAID!"
