Route 1

You've been on Route 1 and Viridian City before and should be able to make it to Viridian City before lunch. The local Pokemon are mostly Pidgey and Rattata and the occasional Bellsprout. You intend to catch the Pidgey and Rattata, maybe the Bellsprout if you can find one.

You wander how anyone is supposed to get around in all that glass. It reaches up your waist.

Just then, a wild Weedle appears.

"Heracross, go!" you throw your Pokeball. Heracross makes quick work of the Weedle. Quickly, you throw your Pokeball at it, wondering if having Heracross fight it was even necessary. The ball hits the Weedle, pulling it within its confines. You watch nervously as the ball rocks back and forth. You hear the characteristic 'ding' signalling the capture of your new Weedle.

"All right! I got a new Weedle!" you think, though you wonder if having a second bug type might be redundant, but now's not the time to get picky. You might swap it out after you catch five other types of Pokemon.

Just as you are getting sight of Viridian City, you see a boy your age with his Rattata. "Alright! A girl! If I beat you, you make to have sex with me! I'm Ronny! I challenge you to a battle!"

"Alright, let's go this!" You decide to test out your new Weedle and call it into action.

"Rattata, show her how it's done!" the trainer says. You can tell the guy's a total novice. Still, he thinks you're a girl. Losing to him might be more fun than winning.
