“Whew, all that explaining made my throat dry. Daiquiri time!” Vanessa pranced over her seat and began sipping her seemingly never-ending drink. Meanwhile, the contestants felt their compulsion to stay near their spots fade and began to chat and interact with one another.

“Dan!” Maddy skipped toward her hunk and hugged his side. “What transformation do you think I should get?”

As much as he wanted to casually hold his newest girlfriend, Dan could practically feel the glare coming from Tori as she eyed the younger woman squeezing her man. ‘I still haven’t talked with Tori about her yet… Shit.’

The man in question decided to tread carefully as he chose to grip the bluenette’s arm rather than her waist like he originally wanted. “It doesn’t really work like that, you know?”

The young and in love woman puffed her cheeks into a pout. “I know! But like, if you could choose!”

The blonde raised an eyebrow. “Our…? First I’m hearing this…”

“Uh oh, trouble in paradise Whitaker?” Chloe chimed in with a shit-eating grin aimed at her former classmates while Natalia snorted at his expense. Kaylee seemed to be in her own little world while Gabby quietly watched on from the side, eyes running back and forth between Dan and “his” girls.

Images of the night prior ran through Dan’s head as Yui winked at him.

A clap from the petite host interrupted his lewd recollections. “Alrighty, Ladies, and Gent. Time to film our next segment!”

“Already?” Natalia furrowed her eyes in confusion as she felt the compulsion to stay in her spot reappear. “Surely it hasn’t been two weeks yet?”

“You’re going to ask us questions?” Gabby spoke up for the first time since her earlier interaction with Kaylee.

“Yup! But they aren’t from me. They’re from our lovely audience. AKA your fans!” The host spun around and faced her camera once again.

A familiar jazzy theme starts to play as a shot of seagulls flying around the beach scooping up food from the beachgoer's hands turns into one of a couple playing volleyball, diving through the sand. Then a scene of some ladies drinking cocktails on their lounge chairs takes its place until it pans to a group of men doing a kegstand. A final shot of some kids playing with water guns shows before an aerial view of the island begins to zoom in onto the beach of a beautiful hotel. The beautiful host starts her part while the music fades into the background.

“Welcome back to Harem Hotel: Bros to Hoes Edition! Last time we wrapped up the first round of the competition with a splash as our resident tomboy Chloe took the first win of the season! Followed by the announcement of the transformations that our lovely gals could be taking home. But now’s not the time to announce which choices won.” Vanessa wagged her finger back and forth. “No, no, no. First, we have our Round One Q&A that y’all, the viewers, submitted while these ladies were busy getting each other wet. But it won’t be me asking the questions. No sir-ee! Darlin’ here will. Darlin’, come on down.”

With the gesture to join her, Dan reluctantly returned to the small woman’s side. “Let me guess. The girls will be magically **** to speak the truth regardless of the question?”

The ginger play-swatted his chest as she pouted. “Phooey, I wanted that to be a surprise Darlin’! But yep! All questions will be answered with complete honesty. Honesty is the best policy in any relationship, right? You just re-learned that with Tori and Maddy, I’m sure.”

“Yeah… sure.” He offered in response.

Vanessa giggled as she conjured up a handful of paper cards filled with potentially devastating questions. “Let’s see here… Ooh, I love this one. Here, this one’s for you first.”

Dan grabbed the small card and stared blankly at its contents as he read it aloud. “I’m looking for a clear response here… If you had children with your harem, would that make them transparent?.. Really…?”

“Pfft.” Maddy chuckled along while most of the group groaned at the attempt at a pun. Surprisingly, even Kaylee snorted at the joke. ‘Good one kid.’

Gabby sheepishly folded her hands in front of herself. “I’ve… uh… never been on a date so I uh… think I’d like just hanging out and watching something we’re both interested in, and maybe a meal.”

“You better write that down Darlin’!” Vanessa pointed dramatically at the man in question. “It’s not often you get a gal’s perfect date written out for you.”

Dan exhaled a sigh. ‘Ain’t that the truth…’

“Moving on! Next up is… The only and only Natalia. Darlin’ why don’t you come back to reading these.”

“Alright.” He made his way back toward Vanessa and read the latest card given to him. “Uhm… Greetings Natalia: If you could choose one skill or character trait future rounds can't take away from you, what would it be?”

‘I’m so happy they let me host this season.’ Vanessa thought to herself as she fought to stop her tears from flowing “Whew, amazing speech honey, I’m proud of you too!”

Several others shared the sentiment but most notably Tori felt a different emotion. Guilt. She could help but think to herself, ‘I was magicked into being a woman my whole life. This is my normal but she… she struggled to find herself…’

After finally collecting herself, Vanessa wiped away her tears and continued her hosting. “We have one more question for you gals and this one is for our lovely round winner Chloe! I’ll go ahead and ask this one. Chloe: What outcome are you hoping to get from the competition?”

The tomboy broke from her thoughts on the previous speech to give her answer. “Obviously I’m going to win this thing and return all this back to normal.” She paused for a moment as she eyed the still-hugging pair of Maddy and Dan. “Most things back to normal…”

The tomboy made eye contact with Dan during that statement, but he understood what she meant. He gripped his girlfriend tighter as he acknowledged the sentiment of his former bully with a nod.

“Aww, I knew you were a softy!” Vanessa skipped over to the tomboy to embrace her in a hug. “I’ll give you a hug too since I know you’re jealous of Maddykins over there gettin’ all of Darlin’s love.”

The former athlete broke from the hug in haste as Vanessa giggled. “I’m not jealous you little-!

Of course, you aren’t!” The teasing host added before hopping back onto center stage to wrap up. “And with that our first-ever Q&A is wrapped up!
