Round 1 - Getting Ready

Kim, Barbara, the Angie’s, Alex, Rose, Veronica, and Jessica were standing in the grand entryway in front of Naomi and John.

Naomi was wearing her trademark purple gown and John was wearing jeans and a T-shirt. The contestants all seemed to be wearing more casual clothes. Kim was wearing a professional looking dress and her glasses again. Barbara had on a nice blouse and jeans, but her gold chains were wrapped around her like fancy jewelry.

Angie’s look and changed drastically. The braided haired one was wearing a more provocative green dress and was licking her lips in the direction of John when she could catch his eye. The flowing haired Angie looked stern and was wearing a nice blouse and a modest skirt.

Alex was wearing jeans and a t-shirt that didn’t really make him stand out. Rose was wearing what looked like her bar wench costume from when she arrived. Veronica was wearing a yellow house wife dress. And Jessica was wearing exercise clothes.

Naomi stepped forward as the camera swooped in. “Thank you all for coming for round one. As a reminder the popularity vote is still going on. Now let’s move to the rules.”

A screen flashed with a crude animation of a stick figure pointing at a gun at another stick figure.

“The guns have 3 charges. Don’t miss. If you miss you’ll likely hit an object or animal that cannot be transformed. Guns cannot be used against another contestant or against anyone under the age of 18.”

At this the stick figure shot the other turning it into a stick-woman.

“The changes include mental, physical, and reality bending changes. All you have to do is think of what you want and shoot. The gun will make sure to follow your logic and trains of thought. So it’s not going to do a monkey’s paw type wish.”

The stick figure shot three times, then disappeared into atoms.

“Once the third shot is fired, if you are on Earth we will teleport you back here automatically. In precisely ten minutes you’ll be allowed to teleport to earth through these tubes. You can prematurely come back by clicking the button on the base of the gun. Any questions?”

Veronica raised her hand, “What type of transformations get us the most points?”

“Good question, voting will be carried out by the viewing audience. So it’s really on their preferences. What I can say from my limited knowledge is that karmic justice plays really well, and changes that are personal to you. Changing random strangers in amusing ways can also be, but think outside of the box. Dropping down into a bar and transforming three drunkards into hot women won’t win you points on creativity. But going down and turning your bully from when you were younger into a bimbo? That’ll probably do better.”

Flowing haired Angie raised her hand. “Do we need to use all 3 shots?”

Naomi paused at this, “No, but the teleporter will retrieve all contestants not on the mansion island in 8 hours. Any more questions.”

The contestants looked around but no other questions were asked.

“If that’s it, then John and I will be monitoring you remotely from here.” Naomi said, “Good luck!”

John waved his hand at the harem, “I really hope you all do well.”

In John’s master bedroom, he and Naomi sat on the same loveseat Kim and him shared the night before last. She crossed her leg and snapped her finger. Her clothes shifted to what could only be described as lingerie.

“Is that necessary?” John asked.

“Did you ask her?” Naomi asked ignoring John’s question.

“Yes… and you were right.”

“I’m always right, darling,” Naomi said sliding up next to John. “I hope some day you’ll see me less as a captor and more as a friend… or dare I say, friend with benefits?”
