Round 0 Transformation Results

A/N: Thanks for all the votes! Wanted to give a heads up, I don't plan to do much proofreading or backediting on chapters I've posted. That being said, I made two edits in the last three chapters - changed Helena's age to 43 to better line up with her history, and realized I hadn't modified Alex's C option's archetype (BTGGF). Apologies for the latter one, too much copy-paste into formatted text and not enough double checking, and has since been updated to be the [Goth] archetype, which most of you may have already guessed. On with the chapter!

“Let’s find out, because the votes are in!” Serena cheered.

“Wait, what?” Sarah asked. “Already?”

“Already indeed! The audience has had almost a week to vote, dear Sarah! I’d say that’s enough to catch even the stragglers, wouldn’t you?”

“A week? It’s been, like, a minute, two tops!”

“Time’s relative, my dear! And as it turns out, now is Maria, as a result of her first transformation!”

The screen changed to show Maria’s results:

MARIA

WINNER - A: And I Liked It – 51.22%

History is rewritten so that Maria hooked up with Helena after her divorce, resulting in a more intimate relationship and them getting married a year ago. Maria is now sexually attracted enough to Helena to enjoy sex with her. [Lesbian]

Runner Up - C: Peak Physical Condition – 31.71% [Fitness]

This time, everyone could see the full details of the results, transformation and superpower, though the archetypes were still hidden to the Contestants and Nate himself.

Reality seemed to ripple, causing Nate to flinch in disorientation as he felt a new set of memories suddenly appear in his head.

He could recall learning of Maria and his mom’s relationship from Sarah while he was away at college, and remembered talking with Alex about it. He remembered both of them being a bit awkward about it, but determining they could support their moms, regardless of the situation. He remembered being both excited and relieved when he had heard that Maria popped the question to his mom, and she’d said yes. He remembered joking with Alex about how they were brothers now, how Alex had claimed to be the big brother due to age, but Nate had countered with a joke about his height. He remembered the beautiful, but intimate, wedding between Helena and Maria, and how they had settled back into married bliss afterwards, he remembered-

Memories flooded his mind, and his gripped his head as he tried to come to terms with it all. Even weirder, the new memories hadn’t replaced the old – he could recall both his mother informing him that she’d invited Maria and Alex (and subsequently Vivian) along on the trip to have some fun with friends along as well as his step-family being shoehorned in because they were family now. It was like he had a second set of memories for any situation in the last two years in which his mother, his family, Maria, or Alex were involved, even tangentially.

Clearly this whole rewrite of reality thing was more complicated than he’d expected.

“And just like that, two families become one!” Serena crooned, snapping Nate out of his new memories and back to reality. He glanced up at where she stood, a mirthful smile on her face. “How do you feel, Maria, Helena?”

“It is… odd,” Helena said, still holding her head. “The memories aren’t, replaced, just added to.”

Maria, on the other hand, was beaming almost more than Serena. “Well, I’m almost of a mind to thank you, Serena! This is wonderful! I always loved Helena more than a sister, because I couldn’t love her as more due to being heterosexual. Now, she is mi vida!” She smiled over towards Helena with that, and Nate watched his mother blush prettily, looking away a bit in embarrassment.

“Wonderful, wonderful!” Serena bounced up and down, in an action that would have looked more in place with a cheerleader outfit than her secretary get-up. “We’re already cooking up new romance in the harem! That’s what this show is all about! Let’s move on to the other half of this brand-new relationship, Helena!”

Helena’s head darted towards the screen, her blush paling rapidly as she saw her results.

HELENA

WINNER - C: Back to the Future – 38.27%

Helena returns to the body she had at 21. Additionally, everyone other than her and Nate believe both that she has always been that way and that she and Nate are unrelated, ignoring any evidence to the contrary. Special Transformation.

Runner Up - B: Mama’s Got Curves – 34.57% [MILF]

“That’s right! We have our first special transformation right off the bat! With the closest vote of this round, Helena will be living in the body of a 21-year-old!”

Nate watched in awe as the years peeled away from his mother. It wasn’t a drastic change – Helena had been in good shape for her age, so physically she only lost a few pounds here or there while her body firmed up a bit. But watching his mother’s face return back to the youthful visage he had only ever seen in photos of his parents’ wedding was crazy.

By the end of her transformation, Helena had transformed to look more like Nate, Sarah, and Sam’s sister than their mother.

But the transformation wasn’t over yet, as Serena snapped again.

*SNAP*

Again, reality seemed to ripple, though it appeared to ignore Nate and his mother. The rest of the Contestants gripped their heads in a manner that reminded him of his reaction to Maria’s transformation.

As they all finally recovered, Sarah was the first to look up. She looked at her mother, first, narrowing her eyes in confusion, then looked back up at the screen, where whatever she saw there seemed to clear the confusion up. This repeated with the rest of the Contestants, and Maria was the one who finally broke the silence after she finished examining the screen.

“Ay, dios mio! How unlucky, mi amor, for them to **** such a thing on you.” Maria rose from her seat to hug Helena, enveloping her wife with her arms. “I know you won’t believe me, but what you feel isn’t true, it’s okay, we will get through this together!”

Neither Helena, nor Nate for that matter, knew how to react to that. As Maria finished the hug and returned to her seat, Nate glanced at the screen above to confirm that it still said the same thing, which it did. Clearly, whatever magic had just happened was giving Maria (and likely the rest of the Contestants) a different idea as to what Helena’s transformation was. He’d need to ask them later to find out.

“Well that’s two transformations down!” Serena broke in. “How’s it feel to have a wife your son’s age, Maria?”

Maria blushed, squirming a bit in her seat, “Sí, I feel like a cradle-robber! But she was already my best friend before, and I still can’t see this as anything but a benefit! Plus, I can help her with her transformation this way.”

Serena smiled a knowing smile at Nate and Helena, and Nate had no doubt that she, too, was excluded from whatever mental magic had just happened.

“Isn’t that sweet? Well, we’ve got to keep moving on, time for the siblings to find out their transformations! Let’s start with the sister!”

SARAH

WINNER - C: Contortionist – 46.91%

Every possible joint of Sarah’s becomes double jointed, and she gains a flexibility to rival the best contortionists in the world. [Gymnast]

SUPERPOWER: D-Rank Martial Arts

Runner Up - B: Unintentional Flashing – 37.04% [Tomboy]

Sarah did a little fist pump as Serena continued, “Looks like she gets what she wants this time! Now, just a little heads up, this change is going to be a bit more gradual – you’ll feel it happening over the course of the next 24 hours. This is to prevent you from hurting yourself during the transition – feel free to stretch yourself periodically during this period in order to gradually get your bearings for your new body!”

It was almost a surprise to Nate that nothing happened after Serena’s snap, given the effects her last three snaps had had on reality and the Contestants. It shouldn’t have been, especially since Serena had just said that nothing would occur immediately, and, indeed, Sarah looked no different before or after the snap.

Serena continued on immediately, seeing as there was no major spectacle this time to keep the audience’s attention, “We’ll be sure to check in with Sarah tomorrow to see the results of her transformation, so let’s hurry on to her not-for-long brother, Sam!”

SAM

WINNER - C: Youngest Treasure – 46.43%

Sam becomes the baby sister in the family, gaining a perpetually nubile female form and a compulsion to wear pigtails. [Girly Girl]

Runner Up - A: Twincest – 28.57% [****]

Sam wasn’t given any chance to react before Serena started the transformation. All eyes turned to the youngest Hawkins child as his body began to shift. The predominant effect was shrinkage – Sam, like his brother and their father, had not been a short man – measuring up just shy of six feet tall. As his transitioned to his newly feminine frame, he lost a whole foot of height, winding up around five feet tall by the end of it.

His body, already weak and rather skinny compared to his brother’s, grew further delicate as it changed genders, resulting in a thin frame with rather modest hips, and a small pair of breasts further emphasized the new femininity.

Sam’s face lost all semblance of masculinity, softening into a cute feminine visage that still bore some relation to his past face. Her lips were now fuller, and more pouty, her nose smaller and rather cute. Her eyes remained the same vibrant blue as before, but seemed larger in their new face, and surrounded by longer eyelashes. The resurgence of freckles from Sam’s youth further highlighted the new face’s nubile features.

Sam’s blonde hair grew longer, draping down her back, until the two sides were lifted by some invisible hairdresser and arranged into a pair of pigtails that dangled down past her shoulders, while still leaving a fringe of bangs to frame the left side of her new face.

As the changes wrapped up, a finally change poofed into being – Sam’s white bodysuit suddenly extended out around her waist into a skirt, a final touch to further highlight Sam’s newly feminine body.

Everyone waited with bated breath as Sam examined her new body. She glanced down, examining herself, then, noticing the presence of her new hair features, grabbed hold of her left pigtail and examined it. Finally, she looked up at Serena. “Can I get a mirror?” Sam then covered her mouth at the sound of her new, high-pitched, girly voice.

Serena grinned widely and snapped again, summoning a free-standing mirror in front of Sam’s stool. Sam stood and examined her new form, leaning in close to examine her face, then pulling back to take in the rest of her body. “Hmm,” she said after a few moments, “The skirt is a nice touch.” Sam twisted her new body left and right to see it twirl around her waist in response.

She then shrugged and sat back down.

“Well?” Serena asked. “Don’t keep us all in suspense! What do you think?”

“It’s fine. I’m still me.”

Serena mind seemed to short circuit at that response. Her mouth opened and she tried to start a sentence a few times, before she stopped and let out a sigh. She shook her head, looking back towards the audience, “Humans, am I right? Never know how they’re going to react to anything.”

“Sammy, are you really okay?” Sarah asked.

Sam shifted on her chair. “It’s… weird,” she admitted. “Uncomfortable, even. Part of the reason I wanted B was because it would have changed history so I was always that way, which would have made it less of a change. I’ll admit I’m also concerned about the ‘perpetuality’ of this new change – if it’s as I fear then I’m not looking forward to always being carded any time I try to by **** in the future. Though as far as downsides go, perpetual youth isn’t so bad.”

Nate had noticed that part of the transformation himself. Endless youth was a grand thing in theory, but he’d read a few fictions that explored the reality of such a situation, and there were definitely some serious downsides. He’d have to recommend some of those fictions to his brother- no, she was his sister, now, right? That would take some getting used to, assuming Sam was embracing the change as much as he seemed to be and wouldn’t ask for the family to handle it in another way.

Truth be told, Nate would understand if Sam still wanted to be seen as a man. He couldn’t imagine how he himself would be feeling in such a situation, and as he thought that, his eyes turned to his best friend, the person who could probably best vouch to him what it might feel like.

Alex had only turned more pale as the transformations had occurred, and now, as his transformation was on deck, Nate had never seen his friend so terrified. He wished he could say something, to reach out and make sure Alex knew he was there for him, but… being the person at the center of this, Nate wasn’t sure how much such a gesture would help, if at all.

Perhaps, in this bizarre, fucked-up reality show they found themselves on, it was better for Nate to consider himself as an antagonist.

“Yeah,” Serena said, again bringing back Nate’s attention. “People would kill for eternal youth, and you just got it for free, my girl! Keep up that optimism, the audience will love you for it! Now, as Sam gets comfortable in her new body,” with a snap the mirror disappeared, “let’s move on to the other male Contestant and see what the audience has in store for Alex!”

ALEX

WINNER - C: BTGGF – 67.86%

History is rewritten so that Alex was born a girl, grew into a curvy woman, and pale skin tone closer to his father’s. He gains a goth’s sense of fashion, and piercings to match that aesthetic. [Goth]

SUPERPOWER: C-Rank Grimoire Magic

Runner Up - B: Hold My Bra, Bro – 19.05% [Lesbian]

“That’s right, with an overwhelming majority, the audience agreed with you, dear Alex,” Serena said. “This was the least competitive vote of the round by far. Whether it’s because they heard your request and took pity, or because they have a thing for Big Titty Goth Girlfriends, the audience was very clear! So let’s turn our Alex into an Alexandra!”

With Serena’s snap, reality once more rippled, and as it did, Nate’s brain cried out in pain. He fell back onto his throne, clutching at his head, as his mind was overload with fresh memories, memories that spanned basically Nate’ s entire life.

Nate and Alex had been friends since they were toddlers – they’d been next-door neighbors for their entire lives. Nate had been to every single one of Alex’s birthdays, they’d shared classes more years than not, they’d been on the same little league and soccer teams growing up, they’d joined the volleyball team together in middle school, and Alex had even chosen to go to the same college as Nate.

Those memories, the memories of almost Nate’s entire life, weren’t overwritten. Instead, like with Maria’s change, Nate found himself recalling a whole new set of memories for the same period of time, only this time the ‘period of time’ was essentially Nate’s entire life.

Alex, short for Alexandra, was still his best friend since childhood – they’d still grown up together, been to each others’ birthday parties, shared classes, and gone to the same college. But there were changes – Nate now recalled that the reason he had gravitated towards volleyball was because Alex had gotten involved, first, and pushed him to join the male version so they could practice together. He recalled being protective of her like a brother whenever it came to other boys in high school trying to get in Alex’s pants. He remembered Alex coping with the tension at home between her parents by embracing goth fashion, though she’d never really adopted the mannerisms that one would expect from such a style. He recalled sneaking out with Alex to the mall so she could get her ears pierced even after her father had forbidden it, and how shocked he’d been to learn she also got a lip piercing at the time.

A whole new life, a whole new history with Alexandra, settled into his skull, and made it very surreal when he finally looked up and beheld the form of the woman who he knew, who he remembered, only moments before had been a man, yet was so comfortably familiar he could have almost drawn her from memory.

Alex had long, dark hair that she’d styled in many ways throughout her life, though lately she’d settled on a style that exposed her right ear, revealing the multiple ear piercings that climbed it (mirrored on her other, hidden ear). She had pale skin, light enough that Nate knew she avoided the sun or wore heavy sunscreen when she couldn’t, which stood in contrast to the dark eye shadow she’d favored since she discovered goth fashion. She still had her mother’s brown eyes, which peeked out between longer, carefully managed lashes (Nate could remember helping Alex figure out how to apply mascara, before her mother had allowed her to own makeup), and her right eyebrow was pierced with a stud.

Unlike Sam, Alex hadn’t dropped much height at all, maybe an inch or two to end up near her mother’s height. And height wasn’t the only thing similar to her mother’s frame – Alex had a very generous set of curves, both a pair of large breasts (32G, Nate thought absently), and wide hips that Alex’s devotion to volleyball and fitness had forged into a bubble butt that even Nate’s childhood-friend-zoned mind had been **** to admit was a gift to mankind.

Alex’s suit hadn’t transformed like Sam’s had, instead everyone present had distinct memories of Alex appearing on stage in her long sleeve leotard version of a yellow bodysuit. The lack of leg coverings truly highlighted her hips and thighs, an observation Nate both distinctly recalled having and was having again for the first time now, blushing both times.

As reality settled back down and everyone came out of their memory-induced headaches, Alex wasn’t examining herself – why would she, she had grown up with her body and knew what she looked like when she did her make up this morning. Instead, she had her head cocked in thought. “Hmm,” she said aloud. “Yeah, I can live with this. This’ll work.”

“Agreed,” Vivian said, a huge grin on her face like she’d won the lottery. Alex had confided with Nate that Vivian was bisexual in both lives. In her previous life it had been a brag, because of course Vivian was teasing him with the idea with a threesome with another girl, she was just that perfect of a girlfriend. In this new life, however, it had been an awkward conversation driven by a dare Alex had lost, because Vivian had wondered if Nate would be interested in being the lone male part of the threesome. Nate had declined, obviously, because Alex was basically his sister and he valued their lifelong friendship far too much to risk complicating it over a night of fun.

Though with both of them being in his supposed harem now…

Nate’s head was tying itself in knots trying to figure out how he was supposed to feel about his best-male-friend-turned-best-female-friend-since-childhood-due-to-being-transformed-for-Nate’s-supposed-pleasure being potentially sexually involved with him due to being on an international reality show that brought Alex back to life. His life was now, officially, complicated, and that wasn’t even bringing the whole apocalypse and superpowers into the equation.

“I’m so glad you feel that way, Alex!” Serena said, a happy smile on her face. “Truly, our goal this season of Harem Hotel is to create a happy harem for Nate that can go on to save the world! And although your girlfriend already looks pleased with the changes, let’s find out if she feels the same way about her own transformation!”

VIVIAN

WINNER - C: Fake It ‘Til You Make It – 48.78%

Vivian will be granted BP for performing romantic or domestic acts of the non-sexual variety. [Girlfriend]

“Yes!” Vivian cheered.

Like Sarah’s transformation, there was no visible change after Vivian’s transformation.

Vivian asked, “Serena?”

“Yes, Vivian?”

“Could you explain more about my transformation? Like what abilities qualify? Or how much BP they give?”

Serena shook her head, clicking her tongue, “Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. No can do, dear. We can’t have you gamifying things, trying to metagame yourself into points. That’s not the point of the transformation! Instead, you’ll just have to follow through and experiment if you want to figure things out.” Serena turned back towards the audience, “And speaking of BP, let’s get to the BP part of the show.

“Now, all our Contestants will start with a base allowance of 2000 BP. This will be added to by the popularity poll results, which I will reveal momentarily. For the popularity poll, last place will get 0 BP, and for each rank you are above last place you gain an additional 400 BP, meaning first place will double their base allowance today! With that explained, here are the results!” Serena gestured to the screen in the air, which changed to show the rankings.

Vivian – 3.75 avg – 2000 BP

Maria – 3.08 avg – 1600 BP

Helena – 2.81 avg – 1200 BP

Sarah – 2.77 avg – 800 BP

Sam – 1.40 avg – 400 BP

Alex – 1.19 avg – 0 BP

“Yes, it turns out I’m not the only one who fell in love with Vivian during the introduction! She was the clear winner this week. And while Helena and Sarah were neck and neck for a while, Helena managed to pull ahead by a very narrow margin. Sadly, both of the men were very far behind the rest of the crew, but perhaps they can leverage their new feminine wiles to pull ahead for next time!”

“Which leaves our Contestants with the following results going into the first round!”

Vivian – 0 VP – 4000 BP

Maria – 0 VP – 3600 BP

Helena – 0 VP – 3200 BP

Sarah – 0 VP – 2800 BP

Sam – 0 VP – 2400 BP

Alex – 0 VP – 2000 BP

“And with that, we come to the end of our transformation round. Ladies,” Serena turned back to the stage, “You will be taken to your rooms in the Contestant tower in a moment. There’s nothing else on the schedule for tonight, so feel free to sleep at your leisure, I’m sure you’ve all had a very long day. Breakfast is at 8 AM tomorrow and you can find the rest of your schedule for the next three days in your rooms. The Master will be retiring to the Master suite and will be unavailable until tomorrow morning, so do try to handle yourselves until then, okay?”

With a smile, Serena snapped again, and all six contestants silently disappeared.

After they’d disappeared, Serena took a deep breath, then let out a sigh. She smiled at Nate, then turned back towards the audience, “Well, we’ve gotten the intake transformations out of the way, now. But I remember, I remember, I promised you all a twist afterwards, right? Let’s get to twisting! Let me introduce to you the very first villain on the show, the Mastermind!”

Serena made a grand bow, gesturing back towards the stage.

Nate looked towards the center of the stage, expecting someone to appear. But when no one did, and he realized Serena hadn’t snapped, he looked back at her to confirm where she was pointing. She was pointing backwards, towards his seat at the center of the stage. Nate glance left and right, thinking someone might be leaning on his throne, waiting for him to notice, but found empty space.

Finally, it clicked. “Wait, me? I’m the first villain?”

Serena straightened up, a wicked smile across her face.

“Yes, Master. Yes, you are.”
