Chapter 9 by Artican Artican

Who does Roger choose?

Roger picks Becky.

It felt appropriate to Roger to pick his wife. They were a team. So, he chose her. His next step was to choose her outfit. There were some nice looking armors to choose from, then there was a scanty gown that barely covered her skin. That must have been a mage tunic. Roger guessed that the outfit decides the class of the character. He wondered what class he chose for himself if that was the case. There was no 'back' option, so there was no use dwelling on that. Instead, he wondered what sort of class Becky would fit under. She was athletic, having been a pole vaulter back in college. She was smart too, top of her class in university. She was also straightforward, so maybe the rogue/thief wouldn't work out for her. Although playing against type would be amusing. He was here to win the competition though.

Essentially, there were five classes he could choose from. They were classic role playing game archetypes: The warrior, the paladin, the, thief, the ranger and the mage. Roger swapped through each class, checking out the outfits to help him decide. The warrior was in what could easily be mistaken as a bikini with a loin cloth. It reminded him a character out of Conan the Barbarian. The paladin was better covered with protective armor on the shoulders, chest and shins. The thief wore skin tight leather with a revealing midriff. The ranger was probably the most sensibly dressed in loose greens and tights. Sort of like a female Robin hood. The mage again wore a long tunic that was held in place with a leather strap belt.

What class does Roger choose for Becky?
