Robert's Birthday Dinner
Hello Readers,
All of the talking between Valentina and Alexia is supposed to be in Spanish. Unfortunately my formatting did not copy over to chyoa. At some point I will try to reinsert that, but I simply don't have time today. For the moment, please simply imagine it that way.
*****
When Valentina walks into the dining room early one Tuesday morning, about three weeks after the first local auction, she is surprised to find Jane and Alexia already at the table. The past few weeks she had risen early, skipping the communal breakfast the rest of the women attended religiously, and done a daily inspection of the work done the previous day, before beginning her own tasks.
“Que?” She asks, cocking her head at an angle.
“Join us.” Jane says from the head of the table, patting the chair on her right, directly across from Alexia.
“What is going on?” Valentina asks in Spanish, suspicion obvious in her tone and facial expression.
“Just take a seat, and I’ll explain while we have breakfast.” Alexia responds reassuringly in the same language. “It’s nothing bad; You aren’t in trouble or anything.”
“I know I’m not in trouble.” Valentina says as she takes a seat. “I haven’t done anything to get in trouble. I’m too busy working.”
“What’s she saying?” Jane asks.
“She’s trying to figure out why we are here this early, and I was just reassuring her that she’s not in trouble.” Alexia says.
“Of course she isn’t in trouble.” Jane says, smiling over at Valentina. “She’s doing a wonderful job.”
Valentina’s scowl slackens the tiniest bit at these words, betraying her comprehension, despite her previous protestations to the contrary.
“Mistress Jane had something she wanted to ask you about.” Alexia explains. “She wanted you to be sure that you understand that it’s an offer, not a demand. You can say no.”
“I told you both at the auction, I’m a lesbian.” Valentina responds immediately, face growing red as her voice rises. “I’m not…”
As Jane stares at Alexia in horror at the outburst, Alexia manages to cut in. “No, no, not that!”
Valentina stops talking, staring at her for a moment, before gesturing for her to keep talking.
“First, we wanted to know what you thought about Chad?” Alexia asks. Seeing the problem before Valentina can open her mouth, she quickly adds. “As a person, not someone to screw.”
Valentina takes a moment to think, and calm herself, before responding. “His guys like him.” She eventually says. “And he’s a good contractor. He doesn’t let them cut corners.”
“Yes, but what do you think of him?” Alexia asks. “Again, as a person, not as a builder.”
“I don’t.” Valentina says. “Why would I spend time thinking about a man?”
Alexia sighs, looking over at Jane. “She’s being… evasive.”
“Just explain the idea.” Jane says. “And ask if she has any interest.”
“Look, here is the deal.” Alexia says. “Chad still hasn’t taken any concubines, besides his wife. It seems like she’s a jealous woman, and he’s a little scared of her. She doesn’t want him claiming anyone she knows, which rules out basically everyone in town. She wants him to go to auctions out of town, but the local auctions are having trouble getting enough purchases every weekend to keep above the quota. Jane was wanting to know what you thought of Chad, because she thought you might be interested in moving to his household, so you could keep working with him and his crew. Then she could take one of the local girls.”
“Why?” Valentina asks suspiciously. “Why would I want to move?”
“We don’t know if you would want to.” Alexia says. “That’s why we are asking. We are asking if you would want to, not saying you should want to, or that you have to. It’s a question, not a demand.”
Valentina takes a moment, thinking this over.
“There is one reason you might want to.” Alexia says quietly. “I know you want a girlfriend, and that none of the girls in the house are interested, because you aren’t involved with Robert. Chad is going to have to add several more women, and once his wife realizes that lesbians are an option, there is a good chance she’s going to get him to only pick them. I think you’d have a very good chance of finding someone over there.”
“If I did this, I would need to be sure he wouldn’t touch me.” Valentina says. “Ever.”
“Mistress Jane will make sure he promises that.” Alexia says. “We already talked about that.”
“And I need to meet his wife.” Valentina says. “I don’t need to have some crazy bitch getting mad that I’m going off with him in the mornings for work.”
“Jane is going to ask him to bring her tomorrow, so we can meet her.” Alexia says. “If you are sure you are that interested.”
Sensing that the conversation had reached a critical junction, Jane reaches over, grabbing Alexia’s hand. “Make sure she knows she doesn’t HAVE to do this. She’s welcome to stay here.”
“What did she say?” Valentina asks, eyes darting between the two women.
“She wanted me to tell you that you can just stay here.” Alexia says. “If that’s what you want.”
“I’ll meet her.” Valentina says, grabbing a muffin off the table, and standing to leave. “If she’s crazy, I’ll stay. If she isn’t, I’ll go.”

“What are we doing for Robert’s birthday?” Lucia asks when everyone who is likely to attend breakfast has arrived. “It’s only a few days away.”
“We usually don’t make a big deal about birthdays.” Jane responds, toying with her food. “Trust me, when you reach a certain age, they stop being as much fun.”
“We have to do something special, it’s our first year with you guys.” Alexia interjects.
“We could do a big party.” Taylor suggests. “We did that for my Dad’s sixtieth birthday. Invited everyone we knew, and made it a big thing.”
“Robert would hate that.” Jane objects. “And birthdays are kind of weird for him. If you girls really want to plan something, we should keep it small. No need to invite anyone who isn’t part of our household.”
“Doesn’t he have some family we should invite?” Reyna asks. “Parents, siblings, cousins? A favorite aunt or uncle?”
“Not everyone has that kind of family.” Jane says shortly. “If you asked Robert, he would say we are his family, and no one else.”
“There has to be someone.” Taylor says. “No one has no family at all.”
“I don’t.” Emily says quietly, looking down at her plate.
Taylor and Reyna look over, disbelief and guilt on their expressions. “You don’t?” Taylor asks, in a tone that made it clear that she was aware of her mistake.
“My parents died in a car crash when I was a baby.” Emily responds, still staring at her plate, hands hidden in her lap. “My grandmother raised me until I was twelve, but then she died. Then I was alone.”
“I…” Taylor says, clearly uncertain how to fix her faux pas. “I’m sorry, Emily. I didn’t realize.”
“I know.” Emily says, taking off her glasses to wipe at her eyes, before looking up at Taylor. “If Jane says we are the people Robert would want to spend his birthday with, we should respect that.”
“Robert loves quality time with all of you.” Jane says. “Why don’t you plan to spend time with him in small groups, doing things you know he likes, on Saturday? I don’t think he’s used the shooting range yet, has he?”
“Not yet.” Jia confirms.
“You could do that.” Jane suggests. “Emily, Megan, maybe you could show him your progress with your projects? Mei can make his favorite dinner.”
“Ooh!” Reyna exclaims. “Orgy after dinner! Or the night before? Or both!”
A murmur meets this idea, mostly positive, but with a few exceptions.
“No way.” Megan says, setting down her silverware, and pushing her plate away. “I’m not doing some weird fucking orgy shit.”
“Megan!” Amber says, looking over at her. “We’ve talked about this. You can disagree with an idea without being combative.”
“I’m not doing it.” Megan says again. “And neither is Layne.”
“I’m doing it.” Layne says. Or, that’s what most of them think she says, given that her mouth is half full of pancakes.
“Layne, honey, please don’t speak when you have food in your mouth.” Jane chides her.
Ignoring Megan’s glare, Layne swallows her pancakes, and then tries again. “I want to do it.” Layne says. “I can do it if I want to, right?”
“I don’t think we’ve decided that it is happening at all.” Jane says. “But if we do, each of you can decide if you want to participate, just like any other time.”
“Even me?” Mei asks hopefully.
“If we decide to do something, you and I can discuss your level of involvement.” Jane says.
“I think he’d like it.” Lucia says. “He enjoyed the welcome home event.”
“It’ll have to be different than last time.” Alexia adds. “He should be in charge, and we do whatever he wants, all night.”
“How is that different than any other night?” Jane asks.
“Because most of us would be there, at the same time.” Reyna says. “Normally, Robert keeps it to just a couple of us, so we don’t feel neglected. This would be all about him, until he is too tired to keep going.”
“I can’t say he wouldn’t enjoy it.” Jane says. “I’m going to assume Kendra won’t be part of this, since she isn’t on the schedule yet. Jia, same for you?”
Jia nods. “I’m out on this one.”
“No problem.” Jane says. “Valentina will be out as well. Other than Megan, is there anyone else who would prefer not to participate?”
Glancing around the table, Jane doesn’t see any sign that any of the other girls are out on the idea. “Megan, Jia, maybe you two can work with Kendra to plan something to keep Isabel busy that night? Call it a slumber party or girls’ night or something.”
“We can do that.” Jia says, before Megan can renew her objections to the idea.
“Thank you.” Amber says, grateful for Jia’s initiative. “We can talk after this, and I’ll give you some ideas.”
“One other thing I wanted to talk about.” Jane says, getting everyone’s attention. “We are coming under some pressure again to take a few more local women as concubines. The auction last weekend barely met its quota. Megan, Layne, if there is anyone you can think of that would be a good fit, let me know.”
“I don’t think Robert wants anyone else.” Lucia objects. “There are already twelve concubines, and with you and Amber, that makes fourteen women. Even with Valentina, Kendra, and Jia off the schedule, that’s eleven women for him to keep up with.”
“And Jia and Kendra may want to get on the schedule eventually.” Taylor adds. “That would take it to thirteen.”
“We may not have a choice.” Jane says firmly. “If it comes down to it, they will assign someone to us to meet the quota. I refuse to be put in that situation. I’m working through our options, but if push comes to shove, we may have to take one or two more. If you give me names, I’ll look into them. I’m planning to ask Lorraine if she has any suggestions as well.”
“Mistress, we are going to run out of room again, and end up in bunk beds.” Alexia says quietly.
“Oh, don’t worry.” Jane says in a sugary sweet voice. “I’ll get you a little doggy bed, and put it at the foot of our bed. Then one less person has to share a room.”
Alexia gulps, clearly concerned that Jane might follow through on her promise.
“I understand space is a concern.” Jane says more loudly, addressing everyone. “I also understand we are nearing completion of the first sleeping floor. Some of you will be sharing a room temporarily, until the last floor is done. Start thinking about who you are willing to room with, and who you can share a bathroom with, since there is one bathroom attached to two bedrooms.”
Finishing the last bite of her breakfast, Jane looks up. “I think we are done for this morning. We may have a guest for breakfast tomorrow. If we do, we won’t be discussing family business. Are we clear?”
*****
“Chad.” Jane says from the formal sitting area when he comes through the door, a few hours after breakfast. “May I have a moment of your time?”
“Sure.” He says, shrugging off his jacket and hanging it by the door before coming over to sit across from her. “What’s on your mind?”
“I’d like to meet your wife.” Jane says, in a very matter of fact tone. “Tomorrow would be good for us. Breakfast would be ideal, so she could meet most of my girls.”
“She’s not really leaving the house, right now.” Chad says, clearly taken off-guard by the request. “I guess I can talk to her about inviting you over for dinner sometime…”
“I’m afraid we don’t have time to pass invitations back and forth.” Jane says. “As much fun as that is. Tom and Lorraine have spoken to me about your situation, and I think I have a solution. I need to meet her to determine if it would work. The fifth auction is in two days, and there is a real question of whether we are going to reach our quota. If we don’t, Tom is going to start dropping women off at random houses, including ours. I can’t have that.”
“Pushing her isn’t going to help.” Chad says. “I’ve already told both of them that. If anyone pushes, she’ll dig in, and then I’ll be caught in the middle.”
“I’m not going to push.” Jane says with a smile. “Like I said, I think I have a solution she will find agreeable, based on what I’ve heard about her and her objections. But I need to actually talk to her to find out.”
“What is this solution?” Chad asks.
“I’d much rather talk to her first.” Jane says. “If I’m wrong, and it’s not something that would work for her, I’d much rather not have to explain why.”
“If I just tell her you want to socialize, she won’t come.” Chad says. “She really, really doesn’t want to leave the house.”
“Then tell her I’d like to meet her and discuss your concubine situation.” Jane says. “You can even tell her I have some ideas that could work for her, and not upset people in town. Or just tell her I’m a very pushy client from the city, with absolutely no manners at all, and you don’t want to upset me.”
“Lorraine is keeping her informed about what is going on in town.” Chad says. “So, that last part won’t work.”
“You know her, and I don’t.” Jane says. “Tell her whatever you think will get her here tomorrow morning. We typically do breakfast at eight. Does she prefer pancakes or waffles?”
Chad shakes his head in frustration. “Look, I’ll ask. But I can’t make her come.”
“I’ll have Mei make both.” Jane says with a smile. “I look forward to meeting her.”
*****
Jane is waiting at Robert’s office by the front door the next morning when Chad’s truck pulls into the driveway. Staring out the window, she grins as she sees the passenger door open. Leaning over, she gives Robert a quick kiss. “He brought her.” She says with a satisfied tone. “Gotta go, have a good day!”
Reaching the door before Chad is able to knock, Jane pulls the door open. “Good Morning.” She smiles, holding out her hand to the woman standing close to Chad. “You must be Willow. I’m Jane, it’s so nice to meet you.”
Chad’s wife hesitates a moment before taking her hand, clearly uncomfortable with the encounter. “Nice to meet you.” She says quietly, before pulling her hand back, tugging at the collar she is wearing.
“Well, come inside.” Jane says, stepping out of the way and ushering them both inside. “I hope you like breakfast, my girls really outdid themselves this morning.”
Willow looks back at Chad as Jane begins walking towards the dining room. “You’ll be ok.” He says quietly, encouraging her to follow, before he heads up the stairs to check on his guys.
Stopping just before the entrance to the dining room, Jane turns, before speaking quietly. “You can take off the collar. I can tell you aren’t used to it, and our girls typically only wear them when they leave the house.”
Willow does, stuffing it into her purse, before following Jane inside.
When Willow enters the room, followed closely by Jane, she sees a table, crowded with women, as well as one child. “Ladies.” Jane says, getting everyone’s attention. “This is Chad’s wife, Willow. Willow, these are most of my girls.”
“Most of them?” Willow asks, a bit stunned at the numbers.
“Kendra has to work at the clinic this morning, so she’s not able to attend today.” Jane says, walking towards the head of the table. “Please, take a seat. What would you like to try first? I’d suggest the pancakes, they are top notch.”
Willow takes the only empty seat, next to Jane, who is sitting at the head of the table. Seeing that she has taken a few of the offered pancakes, Jane looks around the table. “Ladies, can you introduce yourselves to Willow? Alexia, why don’t you get us started.”
When all of the other women have gone, Valentina begins her intro from her seat next to Willow, with Alexia translating. When she finishes, Willow says something Jane can’t quite understand.
When it clicks a moment later, Jane looks at Willow with a sly smile. “I didn’t realize you spoke Spanish.”
“Chad never managed to learn.” Willow says, the tiniest blush entering her cheeks as she smiled for the first time since entering the room. “That was a problem every time he temporarily needed a few extra guys.”
“I’ve heard this one.” Megan says with a laugh from her spot towards the far end of the table. “You learned Spanish in like two weeks when you found out his foreman was quitting, and he needed a translator.”
“Oh, really?” Jane says, eyeing Willow with a big grin.
“Chad was a catch, and that helped me get his attention.” Willow blushes. “A few of my old friends are probably still upset at me for thinking of the idea first.”
Jane nods, and the conversation drifts as the girls begin to discuss their plans for the day. When most of them have filtered out, leaving just Alexia and Valentina with them, Willow looks at Jane with a thoughtful expression. “Chad told me that you had an idea. I hope it wasn’t that putting this little show on for me would change my mind.”
“Oh, this wasn’t a show.” Jane says. “We really do have a breakfast like this nearly every morning, although this one was a bit different. Usually the girls use it as an opportunity to handle problems, disputes, or whatever else needs handling by more than just one or two of them. Yesterday we used it to figure out how to handle birthday plans, for instance.”
Willow just stares at her, and Jane says. “Oh, right, the idea. I’ve heard some of your concerns about bringing girls into your house. Having you over for breakfast was part of the idea. I felt it might help to see that it CAN work. But I do have an idea of how it can work specifically for you and Chad. How do you feel about lesbians?”
Leaning back in her seat, Willow is clearly taken aback by the question. “I can’t say I’ve ever thought much about them. I’m sure we have a few in town, but I don’t know of any.”
“I think many people in small towns would be surprised to learn how many of the women they know are actually lesbians.” Jane says, nodding towards Valentina. “For instance, Valentina is one.”
“Ok…” Willow says.
“May I, Mistress?” Alexia asks.
Jane nods, and Alexia looks at Willow. “You don’t want any of the women who you beat out for Chad to be in your house, right? They might think they could replace you.”
“Yes.” Willow admits. “That’s why I want to go to the out of town auctions. They’ll be strangers, and more likely to respect my authority.”
“Maybe.” Alexia says. “But you won’t know anything about them. One bad pick can cause a lot of problems. We’ve lived through that. What if there were women that you already know, who also have no interest in replacing you?”
“There aren’t.” Willow says firmly. “Lorraine and I have gone over this.”
“Oh, honey.” Jane says, reaching over and putting her hand on Willow’s. “Of course there are. You just don’t know how to identify them. What you need is someone who has spent her whole life learning how to tell what team someone plays for.”
Jane looks at Valentina, who nods slightly in encouragement. “My suggestion is this; Spend some time with Valentina today, and if the two of you get along, she can spend the next few days with you, as a trial run. If you are both happy at the end of the weekend, she can be your first concubine. She can help you find other women who have the same preferences that she has. Start at the local auction, and if you have to, then you could go outside for the last few concubines to hit your threshold. If this works, you’ll end up with a houseful of women who have no interest at all in stealing your husband.”
Looking at Valentina, Willow asks something in Spanish. When she begins to reply, Jane leans towards Alexia.
“She’s asking if she thinks this will actually work.” Alexia says quietly. “Valentina says yes.”
“She said more than just yes.” Jane points out. “I know that much Spanish.”
“I’m willing to give it a try.” Willow says, turning back to Jane. “Does Chad already know the plan?”
“Nope.” Jane says. “There was no point laying it out for him if you said no, or if you and Valentina were obviously not a good fit.”
“I need to talk to him first.” Willow says. “This isn’t what he and I discussed.”
“Valentina can show you where he is working.” Jane says. “If you choose to proceed, plan to take her to the auction this weekend, so she can try to find at least one candidate for the two of you.”
*****
“Robert?” Robert hears from the door to his office. Looking behind him, he sees Jane poking her head into the office. Looking at the clock, he realizes he should have been done with work at least half an hour ago. Shutting down the computer, he pushes back from the desk, spinning his chair to face the doorway.
“I know, I’m late.” Robert says. “I’m not holding up dinner, am I?”
“It’s ok.” Jane says, stepping into the room. Closing the distance between them, she reaches out to touch her husband’s face, cupping it affectionately. “Dinner is going to be a little different tonight.”
“Which of them figured it out?” Robert asks, before slapping his forehead. “Fuck, I gave Samira my date of birth when we were doing our medical histories.”
“And your wallet just hangs out next to your keys in our room, where any of them could look at it.” Jane says. “For what it’s worth, I don’t think Samira was the one that told everyone. Let’s not worry about the how. Your girls want to do something special for you. I steered them away from ideas I know you wouldn’t like.”
“They aren’t going to pretend we are at Applebee’s and awkwardly sing happy birthday?” Robert asks hopefully.
“Nothing as tame as that.” Jane laughs. Leaning in to give him a kiss, she quietly adds. “Just try to relax and enjoy what they have planned. They wanted me to make sure that you understand that tonight is all about you.”
Robert smiles. “I’ll do my best.”
Jane reaches down, grabbing his hand. “Then let’s go. Your girls await.”
When Jane leads him out of the office, Robert is a bit surprised to be led to the dining room doorway. Pausing for a moment, Jane opens the door, gesturing for him to go in.
Stepping through the doorway, Robert stops as he takes in the spectacle before him. “Holy Shit.” He can’t stop looking around the room, admiring the nude forms of his girls, most seated at the table. When his eyes reach the head of the table, they widen as he sees a slim form lying across the table in front of his seat, head bent over the far edge so that he can’t see the face. A fork and knife lay on a napkin across her legs.
“Happy Birthday.” Jane says quietly as she hugs him from behind. Raising her voice a bit, she says. “Ladies, I think you’ve broken his brain.”
A chorus of laughs and giggles jolt Robert back to reality. Looking away from his place setting, Amber manages to catch his attention. “Please, Master, take a seat, before your food gets cold.”
As Robert walks towards his seat, his eyes keep darting around the forms in the room while he tries to determine who is on the table. “The build is wrong for Megan, and it’s clearly not Kendra or Jia…” He thinks, glancing at the slim form on the table. “Mei?”
When Robert reaches his chair, he pauses, reaching down to support the neck as he gently pulls it up. “Hi!” Layne giggles as she makes eye contact with him, causing the silverware to slip. “Sorry Jane, I forgot plates don’t talk.”
Jane grabs the silverware, putting them on the table next to Layne, as Robert looks over at her.
“Please, sit, Master.” Mei requests, coming into the room wearing just as little as the other girls. As she approaches his chair, she begins strategically placing finger food on his somewhat wiggly and giggly plate. When she places each item, she holds her hand nearby for a moment, to be sure it will stay in place, before moving to the next item.
When she finishes, she takes a step back. “I hope you like it.”
“I’m certain I will.” Robert says, looking between Mei and the food on his slightly moving plate. Reaching over, he pulls her towards him for a kiss, before turning back to his living plate. Reaching down, he selects a morsel covering a nipple, savoring it for a moment, before turning back to Mei. “It is excellent.”
Mei beams. Looking over at Jane, who nods, she moves to her seat, and everyone else begins eating. Dinner is interrupted by the occasional giggle from Layne. When Robert reaches the last bite, positioned just on top of her belly button, he looks up at Jane, grinning broadly when he makes eye contact. When he is sure she is watching, he leans forward, eating the bite directly from Layne.
“Eeek!” Layne squeals, nearly rolling herself off the table and onto Robert’s lap.
“Someone is a bit ticklish.” Jane says with a smile. “Don’t forget to clean your plate, honey, unless you’d like Mei to do the dishes.”
“I think I can manage it.” Robert says, leaning down to clean up any traces of the food Mei had placed a few minutes before. After a few minutes shrieks and giggles, Robert looks up, noticing the entire table watching the exchange with amusement.
Standing, he helps Layne to sit up, before pulling her into his lap. “That was fun, thank you.” He says, quietly enough that most of the table can’t hear.
“Can we do it again?” Layne asks.
“Mei, do we have any ice cream?” Jane asks mischievously.
Layne shudders a bit, nipples hardening reflexively at the thought of the cold on her skin.
“We could lay her out in the center of the table.” Alexia suggests in a teasing tone. “Then we could all have some Layne cream.”
“Maybe another night.” Robert says. “Where is Isabel, and the other girls?”
“They are having a slumber party, upstairs, Master.” Amber says. “They won’t be coming downstairs tonight.”
“In that case,” Robert says, pushing back his chair and standing, before pulling Layne into his arms. “I’d like to move to the bedroom.”
*****
Mei scurries in front of Robert, opening the bedroom door as he walks through, still carrying Layne. Reaching the foot of the bed, he tosses her onto the bed, eliciting another squeal.
As the rest of the girls enter the room, hands begin grabbing at his clothes, quickly reducing him to the same state of nudity as everyone else. Or, nearly everyone else. Jane walks through the door last, still fully clothed, closing the door behind her, before pulling out her phone to record this.
Hands begin pushing Robert towards the bed, until he falls backwards onto it, narrowly missing Layne. As he does, the girls follow him onto the bed. Seeing Lucia, he pulls her up to him, kissing her as he feels lips simultaneously touching every part of him they can reach. When the kiss breaks, he gasps in pleasure.
“Everything you ever hoped for?” Jane asks in amusement.
“So much more.” Robert manages to say, before he is overwhelmed by the sensations of nine tongues and who knows how many hands touching him at the same time. After luxuriating in this for a moment, he reaches over to grab Lucia. “I want to taste you.”
Lucia grins, moving up the bed a bit, before swinging a leg over his head. As soon as she is within reach of his tongue, he begins licking at her already leaking pussy, enjoying her flavor as he always does. “I’m living the dream.” He thinks for a moment, before sinking into the blissful feelings surrounding him.
