Rival thieves

Black Cat somersaulted over the last laser, standing before the Cat's Eye Gem. She grinned, eyeing the incredibly valuable treasure.

"Excuse me... but who the hell are you?"

Black Cat looked up and saw Catwoman, holding her whip and suspended above the same gem about ten feet in the air.

"The name is Black Cat, and I'm just claiming this little bauble." Black Cat grinned cockily.

"Oh, I don't think so." Selina shook her head. "If anyone is claiming the Cat's Eye, it's going to be me, Catwoman!"

"Oh yeah?" Black Cat said. Then, before Selina could react Felicia shot her hand out, sliced the alarm chord on the case with a claw, lifted the case and pulled the ruby free. She held it up to Catwoman.

"Well, if you're claiming it, why is it in my hand?" Black Cat pointed out, laughing triumphantly. Catwoman's eye's narrowed.

"Well, good luck getting it out of here." Catwoman said. Then she lowered a foot and touched one of the lasers with her toe.

Instantly alarms started blaring. Cursing, Black Cat looked around and heard the sound of security guards fast approaching. She saw the security doors lowering. She looked up again and saw Catwoman scaling the rope, escaping up the skylight and leaving Black Cat to get caught!

"Oh, it's on bitch." Black Cat muttered.
