Rin Tohsaka

Rin Tohsaka’s eyes fluttered open, her heart racing from a vivid dream she couldn’t quite recall. It was strange; a lingering warmth thrummed inside her, an energy she hadn’t felt before. As she pushed herself up, she muttered groggily, “I feel… oddly well-rested today.”

Unbeknownst to her, the slight aches and tiredness she might’ve normally felt melted away in that instant, her body completely refreshed.

She stretched, shrugging off the feeling. Today was important—she knew the Holy Grail War was approaching, and each morning brought her closer to the critical moment. This was no time to be distracted by strange dreams or odd feelings.

Rin walked through the crowded halls of Homurahara Academy, her mind lost in thought about the Holy Grail War. As she rounded a corner, she nearly collided with a group of classmates huddled together in a noisy cluster.

“Everyone should just be quieter quieter.” she muttered to herself, rolling her eyes as she maneuvered around them.

Instantly, the chattering seems to have died down, students suddenly finding their conversations trailing off. Rin didn’t really notice however, just attributing the quieter hallway to a lucky moment of peace.

As she continued walking, Rin felt a sharp prickling sensation on the back of her hand. She glanced down and felt her breath catch—there they were, the unmistakable red markings of Command Seals, forming in intricate patterns on her skin.

“It’s really happening,” she whispered, clenching her fist, her voice low but filled with determination. She had been chosen as a Master for the Grail War, and the marks confirmed it. This power was now hers to wield.

Not wanting to waste another moment, Rin gathered her things and left school, her footsteps quickening as she left, her mind set on the summoning preparations waiting for her at home.
