Chapter 22 by Sixth Sixth

Does Aaralon agree to the deal?

Right

With a laugh Aaralon agrees, "Right. I didn't see you here. We've never even met." Holding up a finger, he adds, "But - I think I'm doing you more of a favour than you're doing for me. So I think you owe me one."

Sliding down from the stack of hay, Pel dusts herself off. "Hmm. Okay. You've an I.O.U. from me. But bud, don't kid yourself, you'll need very many more I.O.U.s from me before I owe you enough to get down on my knees and suck your cock."

The stable door squeaks again as Pel nudges it further open with her shoulder, "Byebye bud. Maybe see you later!"

Aaralon chuckled as the young woman bolted out of the stable and ran off into the night. He wondered how old she was - eighteen, younger? He wasn't sure. She didn't look well off as despite her energetic demeanour her clothes where ancient and torn. Perhaps she didn't dress like a stable boy through choice.

She was right though. It was about time for him to settle down and to try and get some sleep. No doubt Gerald would try and 'break him in' with some pointless hard tasks in the morning. It would be a challenge to keep his temper with the far weaker hedge mage. Gerald's magic came from the earth and the residue magic left by high mages like Aaralon.

Climbing on top of the stack of hay that Pel had picked, Aaralon drew his legs up and snuggled down for the night.

Any interruptions?
