Chapter 11 by Hellena Hellena

That was just her now-usual innuendo... Right?

Right? Right. Right?...

You'd been looking around in disgust, and hadn't done a thing to hide your emotions. You take a sour look at Ms. Devlin, realizing that being so off-balance had destroyed any chance of acting here... But the plan didn't call for you to act to begin with. At least, not like this.

"Your hobbies are disgusting," You say, not bothering to hide your contempt, "As is your class. I don't know how you get off to this kind of thing, and I don't want to know. I just want the easy A that I was expecting, and to get the hell out of this lunacy."

Well, that wasn't exactly true. Comparative Religion had actually sounded pretty interesting to you, at least until Ms. Devlin had decided to hijack the content. Hell, it still could have been pretty interesting, if she was more interested in talking about demonology and Satan worship than she was forcing her students into this sex roleplay.

But you'd still expected the A, and you hadn't expected to be trawling through filth for it.

"Well, then..." Ms. Devlin purred, arching an eyebrow, "Can I assume that you've chosen to pledge your soul to Satan? That is what I promised, and I assure you, I take very good care of souls on His behalf..."

You cringe inside, as you remember that little offer. You wanted to keep the conversation as far away from souls as possible - so long as you walk away with your soul firmly inside your body (or wherever it was supposed to be), you'd be considering this adventure a "win", whatever else it cost you.

"My soul's worth more than a class," You reply shaking your head, "Instead -"

"But it is for sale?" Ms. Devlin aggressively interjected, "Beauty, sex appeal, skill in bed... Graceful aging. There are plenty of things that I can offer to sweeten the deal, and a deal with me is as good as a deal with Satan. As far as the A is concerned, at least - it'll be going to Him either way."

Your eyes widen a bit as you consider the possibilities. Somehow, it had never quite gotten through to you that you were dealing with an honest-to-God demon now. This... This is the kind of things demons did. Not just take souls and corrupt morals, but, well, trade for them. Money, power, knowledge... Sex. Ms. Devlin might have been a human last year, but now, these are the kinds of things that she could offer you.

You'd joked with Taylor that you could get a higher price for your soul, and you'd blithely repeated that claim here... But Ms. Devlin could offer more. Had demonstrated as much, while you were waiting.

And, well... You considered yourself a good person, but you weren't that attached to your soul. Before last year, you'd never been certain they even existed, and you certainly didn't know what they did. If you'd lost your soul, would you even notice the difference? But you were very certain you'd notice what Ms. Devlin promised you. If you bargained well and cautiously. Which...

You shook your head, clearing it a bit. With this room reeking of lust, a demoness giving you her most sultry look, and bringing up what were no doubt her personal favorite bargains? No. You absolutely weren't going to bargain well and cautiously, she'd be talking you into trading your soul in return for eating her out. And you weren't even gay!

If you wanted to trade your soul, it was going to be after a couple of weeks of cautious research and careful reflection. Besides, unless there was some urgent demand, you were pretty sure your soul would only become a more valuable commodity; all the early bargainers would be rushing into things. Hold out, and she could almost surely get a better price - and maybe even find a better demon to trade to.

"...No," You eventually **** yourself to say, "Maybe... Maybe later. But I only have the one, and I don't want to rush into things and regret it."

"Such admirable caution..." Ms. Devlin pouted, "Well, it's one reason you were always my favorite student. Just don't wait too long, okay? Some demons won't take 'no' as gracefully as I do."

...Fuck, she hadn't thought of that. Well, the school should be safe enough, right? Ms. Devlin would be protecting them. She was so open about being a demon, this clearly had to be her territory.

...Wait, protecting? Wasn't she preying on them? That's basically what this whole soul trade thing was, right? Just dressed up a bit more nicely?

...Fuck! Being in here was messing with her head, wasn't it!? She had to get the tape and leave - now!

"No, I came here to trade something a bit more renewable," You say, returning to your act, "My tongue, your pussy, on the regular. I eat you out, and you mark my homework and exams an 'A', regardless of whether I hand in a blank page. Same for my friends. I mean, it's pretty much what you're encouraging us to do anyway, right? Just without all the busywork."

"An admirable spirit..." Ms. Devlin replied, raising an eyebrow, "But adding your friends is a bit greedy, isn't it? It certainly wouldn't be teaching them anything. With the right... Encouragement, I could probably add one, but... No, more than that, and it wouldn't be worth it, I'm afraid."

...Well, it's not like this was a real trade to begin with, just a frame job. Still, getting Taylor out of this insane "homework" was, like, plan E for if everything else fell through, and you were both stuck staying in this class. You'd like to have gotten Wyatt out as well, but, sisters before misters, right? He hadn't even known your name before this week.

"Greed is a sin too, right?" You add smoothly, keeping your thoughts from your face, "I do a good job for you here, and Taylor and I get automatic 'A's. Do we have a deal, then?"

"Not the worst deal I've made, not at all..." Ms. Devlin smiled, "But I have a counteroffer. You turn off the camera, eat me out, and I don't report you for plagiarism."

Well. Fuck. How are you going to talk your way out of THIS?
