Rieka's Thank you

AN: I'm back. I won't be publishing on a schedule, though I will try my best to post something every so often. And for those wondering, sexy time will be coming up again real soon.

Kazuma was getting up from his desk at school. It was lunch time and he was going to meet up with Satsuki so they can have lunch together. This had become something of a habit by now to them. It was nice to relax and enjoy a meal with her. Though, sometimes Satsuki would need another quick snack in addition to lunch. Finding a hidden place to do that was the hard part, but Kazuma enjoyed the elicit thrill of doing that kind of stuff at school.

Wonder if she needs it today, he thought as he exited the classroom. Turning into the hall, he quickly spotted Satsuki making her way to him. He couldn’t tell if she needed any special care today. Though, if I could do that, other people might have picked up on it. That’s good at least, he thought as he approached her.

“So where do you want to go today?” he asked pleasantly once she was near.

“I was thinking we could go outside, maybe by one of the trees,” she answered.

“Sounds good to me,” Kazuma said as he and Satsuki started for the cafeteria to get lunch. The two made their way down the hallway and turned at the corner to find a familiar person carrying a large bento bag. It was Rieka, standing there with an embarrassed look on her face.

“Rieka?” Kazuma asked as he and Satsuki came to a halt in front of her. Rieka eyes quickly darted towards Satsuki, then back to Kazuma.

“Um…Kazuma,” she said softly. “M-my si-sister insi…sted that I… I mean we, give you this for your… help.” As she nervously said that, she raised the bag slightly to indicate what she was referring to.

“’Help’?” Satsuki asked, turning her head towards Kazuma. “What does she mean?” she asked as she watched his face. For a second, part of her was afraid that this ‘help’ might have been the same kind he was providing her. No, there’s no way it was that, she immediately thought.

“I…It was nothing,” Kazuma quickly said as he saw Satsuki’s inquisitive look. “I helped her carry some boxes.”

“Oh…” Satsuki replied, teasing him slightly. I knew it was nothing, she thought to herself. But it is fun to tease him about it.

“Umm,” Rieka said awkwardly. “I…If you want, the t…two of you can share this,” she said as she pushed the bento bag towards Kazuma.

"So ple..ease, enjoy it you two," she said as she tried to hand the bag over to Kazuma. Her hands were shaking as she did.

I guess she's just nervous, Kazuma thought. "Why don't you share it with us?" he asked, hoping to help her overcome her shy nature.

"That sounds like it could be fun," Satsuki commented. Maybe, it will help resolve whatever issue she has with me.

Seeing that they were not going to take no for an answer, Rieka relented. "Fine," she sighed.

The three made their way outside and set up under a tree. Satsuki opened one of the bento boxes to see half a dozen shrimp tempura, a perfectly shaped rice ball, and some fruits like kiwi and grapes.

"Your sister went to the trouble of making tempura for us?" Satsuki asked as she marveled at the dish.

"She... was making some for a class assignment and made too many," Rieka answered while avoiding looking at Satsuki.

"They look great!" Kazuma said as he reached in to pick up one of the boxes. Once they were all situated, they began their meal.
