Arrive with Leo & Jimmy

“So, what are your guys' plans after dancing?” Leo asks.

Jimmy laughs, as if his plan isn't obvious. You answer, “Um, taxi back here, probably.” Jimmy laughs again. You lean forward to address Jimmy, “Are you 21?” He's in college, so you're really not sure, considering his babyface.

Jimmy grins proudly, “I've got an ID.”

You sigh and lean back in the taxi seat. It's been a long time since you group has had to worry about anyone getting into a club with a fake ID. At least you know Jimmy is over 18, so Leo won't get in trouble later.

Nightlife traffic is a bit heavy at this time of night, but it only takes about 10 minutes to arrive at Skybar. The street is a mess of taxis and gays prancing around in tight shirts. You and Leo are dressed a bit better than everyone else outside. None of you spot Tyler or the greenshirts. You must have been so far behind that they're already inside.

“So... here we are,” Leo states, obviously, and somewhat reluctantly. Jimmy grabs his hand and leads him towards the entrance. You follow, not sure why you're here or doing this. Chris&Jeff were really bad at reading this situation.

The security guy flashes you a smile of recognition. He looks familiar, but you're not on a first name basis with most of them. You've gotten known to be associated with Jeff and Tyler,who never pay for anything. He gives you and Leo a bro hug and waves you in without cover. Jimmy seems very impressed.

The sound of dance base grows louder with every step up the stairs into Skybar. The motif is tacky Roman with some gold lion statues and thick blue lighting. By the time you get to the main entrance on the 3rd floor, the music is loud enough to make conversation difficult.

Leo leans in to the two of you, “I need to drink more for this. Stay near that bar.” He indicates the bar nearest the front left corner of the dance floor. You nod and head that way, assuming Jimmy will follow.

You get onto the dance floor and make sure Jimmy is still with you.

It's pretty crowded tonight, and you can't do much more than bop in place amidst the crush of sweaty male bodies. Jimmy seems to be a kid in a candy shop, enjoying the scene but not accustomed to it. You occasionally get bumped into each other while attempting to dance. You look over his shoulder and spot Leo's back at the bar, waiting for his drink.

You're still not sure what possessed you to actually to voluntarily sign up to be their third wheel. You take a wide look around the club to see if you spot anyone else that you know.
