Richard Baker.

You are born the son of a baker and a maid/wet nurse. You lived a relatively normal life for a peasant child until your 13th birthday.

For monsters, either all monsters of that species have the same type of magic or no monsters of that species can cast spells at all. For humans its different. 40% of all humans have something called a magic seed in there heart. Unless the magic seed is tampered with by a higher being, the type of magic that human is taleneted with is random. It is impossible to tell if a human has a magic seed until they turn 13. As such by the kings orders, all human children that are citizens of the kingom are to be brought to the captital to be tested. If found positive, they are to be trained so when they turn 18 they will be army ready.

You are sent to the captital city of the human kingdom to be tested for any magic talent. The doctors were shocked you not only had a magic seed, but you're the first human in 100 years to have monster taming magic. You were sent to the best human school to learn all the monster taming spells aswell as battle stratagys and how to be a ruler.

Your parents moved to the captal and got better jobs do to there statice gained by giving birth to you. Your father now owns the largest bakery in the human kingdom and your mom is the personal maid of the queen herself.

With such a busy schedule you barly have any time to make friends. You get enough positive social interaction to not go crazy but thats about it. You don't really make any true friendships and you'll probably never see any of these people again once you leave this school.

A part of you wishes you could have chosen your own career but its not like this magic is to blame. Despite the kings efforts to make it so humans don't have to inheret their parents jobs by funding schools, 9 times out of 10 if you're a peasant you're taking 1 of your parents jobs. If you weren't discovering to be magically gifted, you probably would have ended up a baker or a butler to the nobals your mom used to work for. A part of you wants to run away and live your own life outside of the kingdom, but then your parents wouldn't be getting all the advantages they are getting by being your parents. Since you love your parents, you suck it up and agree to this hard training.

On your 18th birthday the lust hits you like a ton of bricks. You knew it was coming thanks to the books but you weren't expecting it to be so intense. For the rest of the school year you are given prostitutes to help you consintrate. You hate it. You want what your mom and dad have. You can't have any of that with these women. Since you can't die from ageing, you'll have infinite time to spend with infinite wives. So having multiple partners isn't an issue. The only worry would be if you fall in love with a human woman who isn't ageless like the king and his countless children.

Once you have finished your final year of study, you say goodby to your parents and go to meet the king himself. This man was almost like a god to you. He united the 5 great human tribes into a kingdom. He is the oldest human to ever live. He grants the ability to stop aging to his chosen few. He seems so larger then life.

Yet the moment you see him in the flesh, that image shatters. You see a man that looks as young as you. However his eyes are so tired, he stair right through you like you where a ghost, he makes a clearly fake smile trying to be friendly. Is he smiling to try to convince you you aren't just a tool to him, or is he smiling to try to convice himself he sees you as a person and not a tool. That he hasn't become so jaded over the years that he can't see people besides his close loved 1's as people. Even your magic eyes can't tell you. What they can tell you is that he is such a tired old man. A powerful old man, but an old man none the same. No where close to the demogod you believed him to be. He's not even 200 years old yet. Is this what awaits you in your future? Only time will tell. He is no longer this untouchable entity you ounce believed him to be. He is now Edward, a king you believe has you and the peoples of this kingdoms best interest at heart until proven otherwise.

He speaks to you in a gentle but comanding voice. Like a father telling his young child how proud he is that his son won a baseball game. "You must be Richard. Your mother won't stop gushing about how proud she is of you. I know you just got hear but I have a mission for you. You are to accompany me the the centaur kingdom outskirts. There we will discuss with the centaur queen about adding some of her soliders to your army. On the way there you will explain to me how your magic works. After that I give you permision to speak to me freely. Its a 3 day journey to the outskirts and that would be hell without someone to talk to."
