As the guards neared Samia, she felt a presence behind her. She gulped, hoping it wasn't about to turn out like it did back in Vernia.
She turned to see Reynaldo, his eyes gleaming with excitement and lust. He stepped forward, a wicked smile pulling at his lips.
"I've been waiting for this, my little darling," he whispered in her ear, sending shivers down her spine. It seemed she'd succeeded in distracting them, as she watched the other Shadow Blades descend the wall.
Samia didn't miss a beat, her eyes never leaving the guards as she slowly stood up, leaving the seductive dance intact. She knew what Reynaldo wanted, and she was happy to give it to him.
With a smirk, she turned back to him, her eyes filled with arousal and determination. She reached behind her, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him close.
As the guards watched in confusion and lust, Samia started to kiss Reynaldo deeply, her hands running through his hair and pulling him closer. He responded eagerly, his hand taking hers.
"I am sorry, gentlemen," Reynaldo said to the guards. "But this fair lady is taken."
