Rewinding a little

Kurt led the others up the trail to the Ravers’ cabin. He took out his keys Heather gave him and unlocked the door for everyone to file in. “Ok guys, I guess we can just chill here until Zack and Heather get back. I’m just going to go take a shower.” Kurt said as everyone else collapsed on a sofa after an exhausting day.

“I’ll take one too.” Ashley stated as Kurt nodded her over. Kurt and Ashley made their way into the hallway where they lost sight of the others on the sofas.

“You know the plan?” Kurt asked.

“I can hear the showers going, but how do you know who is who?” Ashley asked worriedly.

“I know Heather, Ash, she wouldn’t give up the bigger shower for anything. It’s part of her endearing personality.” Kurt said sarcastically.

“Alright, if you say so.”

“Should we go over the plan again?” Kurt asked.

“Sure, why not?”

“Ok, so you go and walk in on Zack, flirt a little with him and try to hold him up for as long as possible. I know from what you’ve told me you have the hots for him, so now your perfect opportunity.”

“Interesting.” She mused. “What’s your plan?”

“I’m going to walk in there and see what happens.” Kurt said confidently.

“That doesn’t sound like much of a plan.” Ashley said worriedly.

“Believe me, I got this.” Kurt said looking into her eyes. Ashley watched him walk into their room and grab a towel from the closet before heading past her to the main shower with a smile. There was no way, she was following through with that plan. Turn her friends against one another? No thank you. She had to walk in there and confront Zack, true, but drop enough hints as to what was happening so that he would storm off and stop them. Yes, that was her plan. Ashley took a deep breath before walking into her room.
