Returning to the Cave

When Kevin Bacon got outside he didn't see Vin Diesel or Alex Trebek. He was breathing heavy and in a state of panic. He started running back to the cave but was suddenly hit with a small rock in the back. He paused under the shelter of a tree and looked around, sure that it was probably Trebek trying to get his attention. Without fail, Trebek dropped from nearby tree and approached him.

Kevin looked down, shaking and confused at even how to start. Trebek guided him to the ground and gave him a rag to cry into. Trebek didn't need a update full update immediately. He knew it wasn't good and that right now it was more important to study details of the fallen village and ensure they aren't being followed.

Kevin Bacon cried into his rag for about 40 minutes while Trebek snuck around and observed Orc behavior within the village. Finally Trebek was comfortable that they wouldn't be followed and led Kevin back to the cave.

The survivors in the cave greeted them with excitement but also concern as they noticed that Vin Diesel wasn't with them. Alex gave a subtle head shake letting the group know he didn't make it. After a few seconds of realization the attention shifted toward Kevin...

William H. Macy put his hand on Kevin's shoulder. "What did you see? Did you see any survivors?" Kevin quickly pushed his hand away and moved towards an empty corner of the cave. "Kevin, we all know people who didn't make it to the cave and are **** to know if they are alive!"

"I found Faith..." Kevin stated. "She is alive." Kevin walked away from the group to be alone. The group threw their attention to the Alex. How many survivors - who else did you see? they rushed him with questions. Alex was not phased by their desperation.

"I'll say this. These Orcs are not what we were told through legends. They are smart and seem to have set up a small camp within our village. They had guards patrolling but there didn't appear to be anything stopping the citizens I saw from leaving. I didn't see many, but confirmed that some are alive." Alex paused to think.

"They will know we are lurking. I took two down after they killed Vin Diesel. We need to get back down there but their defenses will be more well prepared next time. Alec Baldwin - your wife has left for Florence on horseback?"

"Yes." He replied meekly.

"And she will return with an update by sunset?"

"Yes that is the agreement"

Trebek looked away from the group and out of the cave entrance - "We wait for her return then we venture back down there."
