What happens next?
Return to the mansion
You hurried back to the mansion.
The closer you got, the stronger and thicker the scent of blood you smelled. When you returned to the front yard of the mansion, there was no doubt that the scent was coming from the inside. You looked around and noticed that your Sentinel was still there. So were the other cars. Nobody had left, it seemed.
The quietness gave you a sense of foreboding about what had happened and what was about to happen. But you didn't have time to get yourself prepared. You had to confirm Fran's safety as soon as possible.
You rushed towards the front door, opened it, and entered the mansion. Standing in the foyer, you immediately saw a lady lying on the ground. You ran forward to check on her. You recognized her face in no time. It was Donna, the housemaid. She was completely naked, with some dried blood around her mouth and a silver bolt penetrating her left eye.
"Ah!" You fell backwards and screamed in panic the moment you realized that Donna was dead. Even after what you had seen in Owl City, you hadn't got used to seeing dead bodies, especially the ones you knew. But you had to pull yourself together.
"What the hell..." You soon realized that she was killed by Valerie. But why? After what just happened, you believed that she was not that kind of person who would just shoot anyone on sight, unless she perceived them as a threat. So why did she think Donna was a threat? Where was she now?
You quickly checked Donna's corpse again and found nothing else unusual, except for the blood around her mouth. It was much drier than the blood coming from her eye. So the blood was there before Valerie killed her. What does it mean? You asked yourself.
You didn't want to waste any more time. You went upstairs and headed for the guest rooms on the second floor. Your room was at the end of the corridor. You pushed the door open and shouted out Fran's name. But no one answered.
The room was neat and tidy. Even the window was closed. No signs of intrusion. Fran wasn't here, but neither were her clothes and shoes. Your luggage was still in the room, so you suspected that after Fran found out that you were missing, she had left the room to look for you, and she never returned.
"Where are you, Fran..." You murmured helplessly.
You picked up the flashlight in your bag, grabbed the knife from your pocket to defend yourself, and went on to check the other rooms.
The door to George's room was not locked, so you cautiously went inside. George was lying in bed, dead, with a faint smile on his face. His trousers were sliced into pieces, and the sheet between his thighs was covered with his own juice. A chunk of meat was torn off from his neck, which you believed was the cause of his death, and his shirt was soaked in blood.
You covered your mouth and tried to stop yourself from vomiting. Whatever happened to George must have been horrible, and you didn't even want to stay in the room any longer. Someone, or something, raped George and killed him in his climax by tearing off the flesh on his neck. This wasn't a vampire's doing. It was a beast's. A werewolf's.
You remembered Valerie had told you that a werewolf would revert to its human form after it was killed. Was that what happened to Donna? She was a werewolf and Valerie had to kill her? But how? Donna looked totally normal until last night!
But you didn't have time to think this through. You broke the door and entered Grace's room. She wasn't there, but it was a mess inside. One of the chairs was broken, the clock on the wall was shattered, and you found bloodstains on the bed sheet. You trembled seeing the scene. You didn't know exactly what had happened to Grace, but you had prepared for the worst.
You went to the other side of the mansion to search the remaining rooms. In one of the guest rooms, you found Andrew and Margaret dead in bed. Their clothes were torn apart, and you found a fresh scar on Margaret's chest. They were both shot in the head by the revolver held in Andrew's hand. It looked like the major had killed his wife and committed suicide right after.
You took the revolver from Andrew and checked its cylinder. There was only one bullet left, but you noticed something strange. That bullet shone a different light than those you'd seen before. It was a literal silver bullet. Why would the mayor use something like this?
You continued to go upstairs. You found Leonard's corpse sitting in a chair in his study. You tried your best to hold back your tears. There wasn't any other wound on his body other than the clean cut on the neck, which looked like a deep scratch from a sharp claw. Also, there wasn't any sign of struggle. It must have been a surprise attack. He didn't meet the same horrible fate as George - fucked and eaten. He was straight-up killed.
Suddenly, you heard something from behind. You quickly turned around and aimed the revolver at whatever was coming into the room. Your hand slightly trembled as you saw an eight-foot-tall female lycanthrope with gray fur, standing by the door, staring at you with its brown eyes. It wasn't Valerie. It looked a bit familiar, but you couldn't fully recognize it.
"Holy shit... Stay back!" Your legs didn't answer to you as they submitted to the fear, but you were also aware that there was no way to run.
Its expression turned from angry to lustful in just a second, and it charged at you swiftly. Knowing that it couldn't be reasoned with, you prepared yourself as you had only one moment to react.
But you were too slow. Before you could pull the trigger, the lycanthrope knocked the revolver out of your hand and slammed you onto the floor. "Mm..." Your head was buzzing, but you had no time to just rest and recover. You forced your eyes open and realized that the revolver was just several inches away from your right hand. You could have made it, if your arm hadn't been caught by a giant claw.
The lycanthrope straddled you, bent over to smell your scent, and reached out its long, wet tongue to lick your face. The pheromone emitted from both you and the beast was so strong that your mind gradually slipped over the edge. You turned to look at it, stared into its hungry eyes, and all you could think was to have fun.
It must have felt the same, as it violently ripped your trousers apart. Your manhood down there was slowly erecting, throbbing from the primal desire that was slowly eating your reasoning mind. Some part of you still wanted to resist, but it didn't help. You reached out your left hand to touch its cheek, to grab the back of its head and pull it down for a kiss.
You searched its mouth with your flexible tongue as your lips overlapped. The scent of blood inside drove you crazy in mere seconds. The kiss became more wild, more passionate, as both of your tongues were cut by the other's sharp canines. Your blood mixed and dripped down from the corner of your mouth. You smiled and completely lost it.
The lycanthrope broke the kiss when it felt your erect manhood brushing the fur above its clit. It gave you a wicked smile as it moved its waist to line up its intimacy with your shaft, and crossed its claws with your fingers. Without any warning, it sank down swiftly and swallowed your manhood whole.
You let out an intense moan when the heat struck through your spine. The beast rode you at a fast pace, and howled happily with every move. You were torn apart by the pleasure and pain whenever you tried to thrust up. At this rate, you weren't going to last long under its ravages.
You could feel its walls down there getting tighter and tighter with every movement, and its warm breath getting closer and closer to your neck. You moaned and panted against its shoulder when you gathered your strength to make a final push. The world around you began to spin as you shot your hot seed into its womb. You gave in so quickly that it made you like a freshman.
The lycanthrope's body convulsed intensely as it came right after you, but it hasn't finished with you yet. It has been desiring your flesh. And now it was going to claim it. It held your head with its left claw, and opened its bloodied mouth.
You felt a hot breath on your neck, then suddenly, an immense agony. You screamed painfully when the beast took a deep bite of your neck, and tried to tear off a chunk of meat. Was this your fate as well? Fucked and eaten? You were content with this as you smiled.
But fate has decided to play with you for a little longer. The agony cleared the fog that had been shrouding your mind, and you remembered what you were going to do. And you could do it, because your right hand was freed.
Without further hesitation, you grabbed the revolver and held it to the lycanthrope's chest. You didn't have time to really aim for its heart, so you fired immediately.
It seemed that you were favoured by Lady Fortune, as the silver bullet penetrated its skin and went through its heart precisely. It released your neck in a painful howl, fell to the ground, and started twitching.
You threw the empty revolver away and grabbed your knife, preparing for what might come next. After a vain struggle, the lycanthrope stopped breathing and stayed completely still. Its gray fur began to recede, and its bone structure began to deform. In a few seconds, it returned to its human form. It was Grace.
"No no no no..." You almost broke down as you could still see the innocence on her face, in her lovely brown eyes. How did this happen? How did she become a werewolf in just one night?
You stumbled out of the room with your mind blank, yet you knew you had to collect yourself and continue. Thanks to the infection, the wounds on your neck healed up quickly, and you didn't need to worry about dying from blood loss. You finished searching the third floor, but you couldn't find anyone else. Neither the Smith sisters were in their room.
You went back to the first floor and found Ben in the kitchen, lying on the floor, dead. He was pointing to the back of the kitchen with a finger, like he was trying to tell someone something before he died. Following the direction, you saw the trapdoor to the basement. It was open.
You cautiously climbed down the stairs and went deeper along the corridor. With the help of your flashlight, you saw two people both lying on the ground before you reached the end. You quickly ran towards them, but there was nothing you could do. After you saw their face, you finally lost the strength to keep standing as you collapsed and knelt down on the floor.
It was Shannon and Valerie.
Shannon was naked, covered in blood and guts. A silver-plated knife pierced her chest and went right through her heart. Not until now did you have a chance to take a good look at her, yet her delicate, deep blue eyes have already lost their luster.
Valerie was lying next to Shannon. Her stomach was torn open and her bowel was pulled out. Her crossbow was nowhere to be seen. You could see from her angry expression that she was not reconciled to her death.
Why? Why is everyone dead? You wanted to scream, but you didn't even have the strength to do so. Whether Shannon was the werewolf that attacked you or not didn't matter anymore. She was dead.
At the far end of the corridor, a door was left ajar. There was light inside, and you could hear some strange noises. You slowly got up by holding onto the wall and kept moving forward. You were tired. But there was still one thing that was keeping you from drowning in despair.
You pushed open the door.
