"Lair? Do you mean the place the girl spoke of regarding regarding her encounter with Van Helsing?" Doreen asks.

"I'm fine with heading over there. But where is it? Isn't Van Helsing the only one who would know?" Nemo asks.

"Yes, and this is Van Helsing's personal problem. Do you think she would willingly let us accompany her?" Doreen asks.

"That's entirely up to her. If she says no, then that's that. In any case, let's call it quits for today. Whatever we decide to do, we need to rest before we can do it." Lupin is the first to leave the room.

Nemo, Doreen, and Victoria eventually all head up to their own rooms.

War is nothing but formalised ****. It has no justice. But I don't think Van Helsing is so cold that she can casually kill someone."
