Return to the hotel

Li hands you a Clif bar which you wolf down hungrily while he talks and drives back to the hotel.

"We'll go straight to the convention floor. It's already begun, but these things tend to start slowly and ramp up over the first couple of hours.

"Remember our goals for the weekend. We've got two distributors coming to talk to us, Mr. Borgnas today around 2pm, and Mr. Khali tomorrow at 11am. We need to close both sales to ensure the survival of the company. Remember, if I go down, I'm going to take you with me.

"The rest of the time you'll be getting people excited about the product and collecting business cards for our mailing list. We need to collect at least 1000 names by the end of the expo. If I can show Mr. Hung that there is sufficient interest in our product...", he trails off, lost in thought.

He is silent as he drives the next couple of blocks, but as you approach the hotel, he speaks again, "The expo has placed us right across from our main competition, Shawdyne."

You're familiar with Shawdyne. They're a Texas company that has recently released a low end streaming box in the same niche as the Li-TV.

"It's not bad, necessarily. We'll be able to keep an eye on what they're doing. Of course, they'll be able to watch us too. Just be wary."

He pulls into the hotel lot and parks.

He looks over at you and says, "One last thing, and this is very important. The transformation has flooded your body with a very different set of hormones than your brain is used to." He pauses and frowns, looking very uncomfortable, "You may find yourself reacting in ways that, well, you would not have considered in your old body."

"For the honor of the company and for your own safety, you need to resist any such thoughts. They will make you ****, and there are people out there, men, who will take advantage of you. Alright?"

"Sure," you say, hoping to end this embarrassing conversation as quickly as possible.
