Return to camp.

Kriss watched from the shadows as the last of the freed women and rescuers headed to the sewer and was about to join them when she saw Cheytelle and the **** Arerto being taken into the prison. There was little she could do on her own and she headed down the sewer pulling the grate shut and headed back to the amazon camp. For some reason, the sewer was no longer being guarded so the going was easy and she soon caught up with the rest of the warriors. They trudged through the valley occasionally having to take cover from enemy patrols but soon got back to camp and after being challenged by the amazon sentries were allowed into the camp. Kriss went and found Julieanna and reported that Arerto had been captured along with a woman they had allied with. Julieanna was about to organise a rescue party but first ordered Kriss and her group to get some rest and food and to report back to her later. Just as Julieanna was calling a rescue party a sentry came and reported that there was a dust cloud heading their way from the rear.

Julieanna ordered an ambush set up, just in case and ordered the rest of the camp to stand ready to fight. The next report that came in was that the dust cloud had been identified as Queen Alcippe's caravan. This meant trouble if the queen was so far from the capital so the camp was quickly dressed with the troops arranged into their units and an honour guard assembled ready for inspection. Soon enough the lead outriders arrived followed by mounted trumpeters heralding the Queen's arrival. Julieann met the queen's carriage and knelt on one knee as the door was opened and the queen stepped down and offered her hand. Julieanna took the hand, kissed the back of it and was then ordered to rise. The queen asked why she had not been met by her daughter and Julieanna told Alcippe that maybe they should discuss the matter in the command tent. Once inside the tent, Julieanna informed the queen of what had happened.

Alcippe started to bristle " So my daughter has not only disobeyed my orders she has gone and got herself captured." Julieanna tried to defend Arerto but the queen was livid. _"Julieanna at least you know how to follow orders however those orders may be misguided. I have come to a painful decision from this moment Arerto is no longer in charge that duty falls to you. If and when she returns or is rescued you are to place my daughter under arrest and return her to the capital for punishment." _Julieanna bowed and the queen left the tent and headed back to her carriage and then left the camp leaving Julieanna holding her written orders. She continued to watch the retreating carriage and escort while she ordered Kriss to form a rescue party to be readied to go rescue Arerto and sadly then place her under arrest.
