Chapter 314 by JoeSte91 JoeSte91

Have Trent and Gavin been outed? Who does the voice belong to?

Return of Girl Talk: The Reboot

Back in the bedroom, both girls, fully awake and still fully naked, were getting ready to face the world. Madison sat in front of the floor length mirror, applying some make up that she’d borrowed without asking from Heather, though she knew her captain wouldn’t care. Meanwhile, across the room, Ashley rummaged through her luggage, looking for something cute to wear, not knowing what exactly that was, but that she’d know it exactly when she saw it.

“Soooo, I just wanted to say thanks, again, for last night,” Madison said, as she rubbed primer onto her face, her fingers sweeping down over the bridge of her nose and along the tops of her cheeks. “With helping get me and Brandon back together, I mean, not, uh, the other stuff.”

“No, the other stuff was your way of thanking me,” Ashley teased without looking over. “And I think I’m pretty thanked out, all things considered.”

“Honestly, I’m a little worried now though,” Madison confessed, applying the primer now to her forehead and along the ridge of her jawline, down to her chin. “What if, when it’s just the two of us, we just start arguing again. What if we need you?”

“Are you crazy, Mads?” Ashley lifted out a burgundy, strappy, one shoulder tank top, contemplated it for a second, then tossed it aside with the other rejected clothes. “It’s you he loves, not me. I was just a, I dunno, a cool new toy to distract you both from your problems.”

“I hope so. It’s just that, any time I tried to get through to him, we’d just end up bickering, or he’d storm off and wouldn’t talk to me,” Madison explained, turning now to the foundation, dabbing spots of the cream onto her forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Thankfully, Heather’s skin tone was similar enough to her own that she could use hers. “Like, you know how to treat him as a boyfriend, but it’s difficult for us not to fall back on how we’d act as brother and sister.”

“That’s uh, natural, I guess,” Ashley cleared her throat. “You were brother and sister longer than you have been…”

“Sorry.” Madison paused with the sponge poised inches from her face. “I know this bothers you.”

“It’s fine. I can’t exactly protest too much after what I consented to and took part in last night,” Ashley soothed her fears, as she continued rummaging. “Though, when I think about it being more than a one-time thing, with you guys being together, living together, having…yeah, it freaks me out a little. But I don’t expect you to live your life according to my problems.”

“That’s awfully mature of you,” Madison said, blending the foundation into her skin, creating an even finish around the edges of her face and neck. “I just wish Lisa felt the same way.”

“She’ll come around. Even if she feels more strongly about it than I do, I bet she still misses her friend,” Ashley consoled her, as she pulled out a pair of dark dyed, machine ripped denim jeans, and discarded them almost as quickly. “Just don’t go rubbing it in her face, and let her see that you can still be yourself.”

“Yeah,” Madison agreed, moving on to the concealer, using a brush to apply it just beneath her eyes, hiding the dark circles. “I guess it’ll just take time.”

“It will. For you and Brandon as much as for you and Lisa,” Ashley added, her desperation to find a cute outfit growing as she neared the bottom of her suitcase. “There’s a lot of learned behavior between the pair of you that needs to be untaught, to treat each other like a man and woman, rather than siblings.”

“You make it sound so obvious.” Madison allowed herself a little laugh, before applying the highlighting cream to the tops of her cheeks, the inside corners of her eyes and along the double curve of her upper lip. “How’d you get to be so wise?”

“When you make as many mistakes as I have, you learn a little bit here and there,” Ashley joked. “Besides, you and Brandon have that twin thing going on, don’t you? Can’t you just sense that he loves you, and you alone?”

“It doesn’t work like that. It’s not direct telepathy. It only works for strong emotions, and even then for massive surges, like anger or when we’re…”

“Cumming?” Ashley finished the sentence with a smirk, looking over her shoulder at Brandon’s twin. “Well, you both came quite a bit last night. Did you feel it then?”

“It’s been on the fritz for a while, ever since he found out about Shawn and stormed out, so no,” Madison confessed, contouring her face now with a brush to darken the lower parts of her cheeks and beneath her jawline. “Actually, that’s what bothers me. Even though everything seemed like it was realigned, and I was able to cum, I still didn’t feel anything more than that.”

“And you think that means that some part of Brandon is still shut off from you?” Ashley surmised.

“Yeah,” Madison confirmed, while adding a little blush to her cheeks, not too much, just enough to make her face pop in contrast to the contouring and highlighting.

“Hmmmm,” Ashley hummed thoughtfully.

“You’re being awfully picky about your outfit today,” Madison noted, changing the subject as she used another smaller brush to apply a subtle moss green eyeshadow in small intricate circles stemming out from her lashes. “You trying to look nice for anyone in particular?”

“No! After my relationship with Zack tanked, I’m not looking to get into anything right now,” Ashley insisted, as she held a ribbed, elbow sleeved, deep red sweater in front of her eyes. She’d only brought it in case the weather cooled down, but the heat showed no signs of subsiding. “But just because I’m not looking for anyone doesn’t mean I don’t want them to notice me, and I bet there’s gonna be a lot of cute boys at the party later.”

“Later?” Madison repeated, freezing as she moved from one eyelid to the other. “Ash, you do know that Heather postponed her party until tomorrow, right?”

“What?”

“Yeah, she sent a message last night, but we were all too distracted to notice. I only read it first thing this morning. Didn’t go into too much detail though, just that she has some business with her Dad to sort out, but the party has definitely been put on hold until tomorrow.”

The blonde gave up her search and dashed across the room to her phone on the night stand. Bent over, looking at her messages, even Madison had to notice how nice and tight Ashley’s ass was. It was on the small side, thanks to her petite frame, but with a firmness and roundness that made it stand out all the same. Just like Brandon, she noticed the muscles in her friend’s ass flex as she read the message and growled audibly with frustration.

“I looked at the time when I woke up. How could I have missed this?”

“Probably still half asleep.” Madison suggested as she returned to the task of making one side of eyeshadow look as blended and vibrant as the other.

Ashley tossed her phone aside and stood up from the bed. “Oh well. It doesn’t mean I can’t still look cute. I just have to find it.”

“Honestly, Ash, I’ve never seen an outfit you haven’t been able to pull off. I’m sure whatever you pick will be fine,” Madison said, her eyes on her reflection, focused on applying the make up evenly. “At least you have something to wear. Since I only came in my jeep to pick up Brandon, I never thought I’d be staying, so I didn’t bring anything with me. So, I’m gonna have to borrow someone’s clothes. Probably yours. Again.”

“Oh shit, that reminds me,” Ashley paused in the middle of crossing the room to the suitcase. “I never apologized for freaking out over you wearing my dress. I am sorry. It’s just…that dress represents a very special moment for me, and I-”

“You don’t have to explain, or apologize,” Madison assured her as she set down the eyeshadow brush and moved on to the eyeliner. “I already knew it was the dress you wore on your date with Zack, and I should have just changed. It’s clear that Victoria was using me to play games between you and Zack.”

“Well, that’s what pissed me off even more about it. Zack had just broken up with me based on some lies that Vicky said,” Ashley replied solemnly. “So, when I saw you in the dress, I just blew up. I know I’ve done a lot of things wrong, and I’ve hurt a lot of people, but going on that date, the night in the hotel with Zack, well, I know you don’t want to hear this, but it’s the one, most perfect moment in my life.”

“It’s not like I begrudge you that happiness, Ash. I just wish it could have happened another way without hurting Brandon,” Madison told her briskly, eager to leave the past in the past. “Besides, even after all that, you’re the one that helped me and Brandon get back on track. So, as far as I’m concerned, we’re even.”

“No,” Ashley insisted, walking over to her luggage. “I want to make amends for making you strip in front of everyone like that, so how about I help you find the perfect outfit? Everyone knows I’m good at finding love for other people, I’m sure it’ll work for fashion as well.” Her eyes lit up as she saw the last pieces of clothing lying at the bottom of her suitcase. “And I think I know just the thing to help you and Brandon ‘reconnect’.”

Can Madison and Brandon's problems be solved by what's at the bottom of that suitcase?
