The pain didnt stop, as much as Mira kept sobbing. Despite the divine support it was just too much for the paladin, and she finally said "Please, return me to the Inn"

"You wish to return to A'hikoji' temple?" the motherly tone sought her assurance, beyond her grief. Mira kept sobbing, but nodded her head.

"So be it." And with that, the apparition spirited her away, leaving the rebel army and the besieged kingdom to their own luck.

Mira awoke in a soft bed. She felt she was naked, so wrapped herself in the fur blanket that covered her. She saw the sunshine between the window creeks. She opened it, and felt her heart flutter when she saw more newcomers approaching the Inn's entrance. Some noticed her, including a broad chested hunk with blue tattoos covering both arms. Mira didnt mean to, but she felt the blanket slip, just enough to reveal her left nipple. The barbarian licked his lips, and the whore couldnt wait for him to get upstairs.

The Kingdom of Arlain fell to Marus demonic armies, and other Kingdoms followed its sad fate.
