“Finally is about right. It took like 50 chapters of random bullshit and fuckery to finally get his ass to classes.”

You stare dumbfounded as she goes over things you learned before you were ten, in both this world and your last one. Everyone is writing down the explanation and you write down a little as well but is this it? For a little under an hour and half you try to figure out if this was setting a trend or was in fact just a refresher.

“Hah! Holding a class about grammar is quite the irony given the quality of this work.”

“You know, normally I would tell Marcie to stop bitching about stupid shit nobody gives a fuck about. But this time it’s actually worth bitching about. Fix your shit, you lazy fuck!”

"Listen magic isn't everything, if you can do well in your other subjects you'll be fine, you can manage your duchy while your wife handles everything else." The teacher says in a soothing tone but it was not helping because it meant that was all you could amount to. A husband who can look after the books for your future wife. The teacher sighed, "I'm not sure why you didn't know about this already but you were going to find out sooner or later." He stood and walked away. "Lady Stephanie will be teacher her student here in half an hour, you need to be gone by the time she gets here."

“To say something positive, I do actually like the fight scenes. In general the action scenes are quite fun.”

“No, last time were no classes. This is an improvement.”

“I am unsure if I agree with that sentiment. Sentient trees are best left to the realm of Tolkien.”

“Maybe we can get dickgirl-guy to suffer through this instead.”

“To be fair, this story is not without promise. We have the intrigue with the princess who wants to usurp the throne and the general setting of a magic gender reversed world is interesting enough. However...”

“It’s just so fucking boring most of the time!”

“Well, Gina I would not want to be that rude but yes this story suffers from massive pacing issues. In fact, during our five years tenure and over 150 stories covered, this is the first one that came close to Lustyre in the discipline of wasting my time.”

“Besides. A story with such atrocious spelling must be called out.”

“Hm, let me think. I do actually find a few characters like Anastasia, Vatarie, Asune or the combat instructor quite entertaining. The three way relationship between the Princess, Edin and Christopher is cute too.”

“Yeah, and you can actually keep them apart. Which is more that I can say for cowguy’s 5 billion sluts.”

“In brief, the framework is there but the actual execution is simply not.”

“Great.”

“I will give this author grace one more time. Put your writing through a decent spellcheck program and tighten your pacing and narrative.”

“And he started this story in January last year, so that’s almost a chapter per day?”
