Chapter 1051 by Fiftyfiftyfifty Fiftyfiftyfifty

What do you do?

Return home.

You, Niki, Eva, Amara, Nyllia, Yin, Peony, Snow, Alice, Delphi, Vivi, Luna, Laira, Dajy, Bek, Stax, Lynx, Sen-nu, Linzeri, Fang, Lalarin, Mina, and Rose begin the journey home. From Crystal Lake, the journey isn't far. It's simply up a mountain path, one that you first traversed when it was a raid against Sa'dis, which feels so long ago now. You all say your goodbyes to the Lady of the Lake, but she'll never be far. Having such an ally could prove to be quite valuable, and it seems you've made her happy. Though you can't help but ponder her words, and all that transpire today--between your power, and the new body of Elok Daven.

Bek marches forwards with his blindfold in his hand. "I can't believe I missed the fight!" he grunts. "I got some great training in, but I got too caught up in a little adventure of my own, so I didn't hear no splashing or nothing."

"It wasn't really a fight," you say.

"What adventure?" asks Niki.

"Well you see, when I was practicing without the use of my eyes, I slipped down into a cave."

"Do you require healing?" Amara looks to him with concern.

"Are you sure you can handle more healing already?" you ask as you bring a gentle hand to the back of her neck, thumbing over the choker once again against her skin.

"I can!"

"No, no. I'm fine," Bek replies. "Just had to fight a bunch of stuff. You know how adventures go. Combat. Romance. The whole thing."

"That explains why you didn't hear us," Rose says from behind.

"Was the fight that noisy?" he asks.

Not exactly answering his query, the party continues up the rocky path, which has only become easier to traverse as carts have been sent to and from Castle Phoenix for trade. Not so many as would a town, since you are still the Demon King of Tivera, but thanks to various smaller connections you and your allies have been making, you've been able to secure more than enough food, water, and more, and the skillful hands of your crafters have proven to be valuable sources if income as well.

By the time the party returns to the castle walls, it's nearing dinner time.
