You look around to see your Soldiers awaiting your orders. Sheathing your sword, you announce, "Sir, we might have dispatched the Horde, but It's still not safe for her here... we need to get her back to her father immediately!"

Looking at your captain, you add, "Keep a detachment here to destroy anything we can't take back... no need to let it fall into the wrong hands..."

"As you command..." The captain replies, organizing his men.

Looking at the Soldiers, you order, "The rest of you on me!"

The surviving soldiers all nod and head back with you and your companions.

It's a long ride, but you arrive back at the Elven capital at dusk. The sentries hail you... but noticing the future queen riding behind you, they quickly allow you in.

The watch commander beckons you and your female companions, quickly guiding you through the city to the high councilor's chambers. When you arrive, you find both the King and High SunForce waiting for you. The King quickly walks towards you and bows, forcing High SunForce to bow even lower.

The King stands and takes your hand, saying with a smile, "I'm forever in your debt for saving my daughter... I also understand you need our help to retake your throne, and we will help you..." Pouring you some wine, he hands you the goblet as he adds, "But we owe you more for what you have done... For the honor of your victory, you are allowed to keep what you saved..."

Seeing your shock, he continues, "Of course, I understand such an alliance could be premature... High SunForce has also volunteered his own daughters to take the place of mine if you want..."

You can feel Elizabeth's eyes staring you down. She knows that taking either of those offers instead of her would stain her honor and complicate her relationship with Lord Richard and other nobles at home. She wants to be your wife, and while it's not unheard of for kings to have multiple wives... you know that she wants to be your only one...or at least your first.

However, refusing these offers would be considered a direct insult to King, cutting off your support from the elves.
