You expected things the next day to be awkward between you and Countess Marissa. However, during breakfast she acted like nothing happened and her general attitude was the same as yesterdays. Gratitude, but little more than that. Perhaps it was, as she said, a reward for your troubles.

Your entourage is ready to leave by lunchtime and the Countess and her husband come out to bid you farewell. The Count bows gratefully, but Countess Marissa walks up to you and presses her hands to your chest and kisses your cheek, "Thank you, for everything Your Majesty."

Both you and the count look surprised by the kiss, but he doesn't seem jealous. You suspect that he thinks the kiss was just a simple kiss of gratitude, "You're welcome Countess Marissa. If you ever need help, you know where to find me."

She nods, "I do."

So you leave your adventures at Luxem Castle. It was certainly exciting, but you're pleased with the outcome. Now begins the long, three day journey back home.The trip goes as uneventfully as the trip down and you don't make it back to the castle until nighttime. Whether from the trip, or from everything that's happened. You certainly don't mind going straight to bed and sleeping and so you do.

In the morning you wake from your sleep by the sound of your door closing. You quickly sit up and see Sarah by the door. She stiffens in surprise by your presence, "S-sorry Your Majesty. I didn't realize you were back yet...I'll just leave" She turns back to the door

"It's fine" you say as you get out of bed. You get up and stretch before remembering that you're in your underwear and Sarah is watching. A blush quickly turning her face bright red as she stares. You consider whether you should play with your cute servant, but at the same time you don't want to be late for court.
