You managed to get out of service last year through both rank and the fact that your contract ran out. They tried to encourage you to enlist again but you knew that they might want to use your new private property for their own gains. You flat out told them no and the only thing that they can do is either insure that your new rifle is not a full auto rifle. You still talk to the friends that you made in your unit that were important to you. Your post was thankfully only a few miles away from your house that you owned before you enlisted into the army.

The gear that you purchased from the army was a load of items, and these items were the most important part to your emergency kit. You purchased the armored vest and other armor pieces, M16A3, and the other amounts of gear. You are thankful that you were the one maintaining your gear instead of the new armorer. He was brutal on gear and you were thankful that you left after he started a week after you left. Your home had been owned throughout a lot of generations and you could trace your line to the first settlers of the town.

You could have started a political career with this alone but you instead decided for the military. You also talk to your old unit and find out that something strange had been happening around town and that they are about to enact martial law. You start to get ready by basically gathering your ammo and weapons with your armor and other emergency war. You hoped that you could either join a group of survivors or try and find your old unit and join up with them for a time. This is the choice that will control your survival odds and possibly protect you better.
