Chapter 7 by NaughtyPixie NaughtyPixie

What's next?

Rest, Recuperation and Research

The rest of the day passed in a blur.

After taking her 2nd shower of the day, and changing back into some comfortable loungewear – Zoe spent most of the morning trying desperately to search the internet for any information about what the strap was, or how to remove it – as well as trying to find anything that could explain how the thing had caused her to orgasm so powerfully.

Her searches were constantly met with useless distractions and dead-ends.

She even tried resorting to taking a photo of it and posting it to a runner’s forum – to see if anyone recognised it – but even after several hours of it being up Zoe was frustrated and confused that absolutely no one responded to her.

In her desperation, she even started looking for the weird website she’d seen yesterday. As much as it made her cringe to think she might actually be admitting to herself that this thing could be magic - she had to exhaust every possibility.

But her internet history from that time showed no sign of it – and even searching for descriptions of the stone spiral of descending stairs she’d seen yielded nothing.

Great

Zoe considered all she knew;

I’m wearing a magical smart watch that tracks when I run, and makes me orgasm when I do.

Ok...

Even the memory of the orgasm was enough to simultaneously excite and exhaust her. She’d never felt anything like it.

She tried to convince herself otherwise but, Zoe's curiosity was starting to outweigh her anxiety... Maybe it could stay on her wrist for a little while longer... just until she figured out what it was...

By lunchtime she had gathered enough courage to try pressing the button again, though the led wasn’t lit – Zoe still took the precaution of lying on her bed and braced herself to see if the thing would make her cum like that again. She experienced a sense of relief mixed with disappointment when it didn’t – instead, the voice had returned to its original announcement,

“It’s been 6 hours and 22 minutes since your last run of required distance”

Wait... 'Required'?

Zoe frowned – she was sure it hadn’t said that before… had it? She shook her head, she didn’t really remember and she was more distracted when the voice didn’t continue with its customary second line,

“No offer of a reward for running now?” she asked it, jiggling her wrist as though the thing might come back to life.

With no answers, she spent the rest of the day flitting between chores and distractions, struggling to focus; her mind continuously drifting back to the strap on her wrist, and what it had done to her that morning.

It wasn’t until the evening – when Katie had returned with take-out and the pair of girls had settled in to eat it on the couch that the activity tracker vibrated itself to life again.

Katie was mid-sentence, talking about her day, the blonde complaining about some element of office politics at a million miles an hour that Zoe could only nod along to. Katie was short and spritely, her petite frame at complete odds with the fact that she loved to eat and talk – at times like these, both at the same time.

Zoe had been bringing a chopstick pinch of noodles to her mouth when the strap buzzed, the surprise causing her to drop the sticky chicken back into the carton.

She glanced at the light – it was pulsing white again.

Ok – another normal notification?

“… So Tracy ended up having to move the desks back while Peter and Alan tried to re-organise everything. It took hours” Katie waffled between mouthfuls, noticing Zoe was distracted, she faltered, “But, uh… yeah… anyway… how was your day? You were up early so, I mean… did you do anything?”

The red-head returned her blush, “Sorry – yeah, it was… it was good… um. I went for a run today”

Katie’s face lit up, “You did? God, Zo, I’m really glad you said that – like, I’m proud of you!”

“Thanks Mom…” Zoe teased, before she let her next sentence linger.

She bit her lip anxiously, unsure what she should do – could she share this with her friend, or at least tell her?

"I woke up wearing what I think is a magical Fitbit; it makes me orgasm when I finish a run. It made me orgasm harder than I ever have before, in our kitchen, standing over the sink."

Yeah… no… that would make her sound like a pervert at best, and completely insane at worst… maybe she could leave out that last part, just ask...

“Uh… Katie?” Zoe started, unsure how she was going to proceed with this.

“Whaff?” The other girl asked through a mouthful of noodles.

“Uh… you didn’t like… ok…” Zoe floundered, lowering her carton to her lap, “You didn’t… get me a smart watch thingy did you?”

Katie frowned and shook her head, swallowing as Zoe watched the confusion spread over her face, “A smart watch?”

“Yeah – like… this?” She lifted her wrist to let her sweater sleeve drop down her arm, revealing the strap.

Katie shook her head, “Nope, why – like… did it come in the mail?”

Zoe sighed. Ok, so it definitely wasn’t Katie...

She took the out, “Yep, it just turned up today… so I uh… started wearing it… I just thought it might’ve been you so. Never mind”

Zoe let her sleeve fall back over her wrist again as her housemate shrugged, “Sorry, nope, not me – but cool though. Did you wear it on your run?”

Zoe blushed brighter, “Uh, yep… it… helped…”

"Maybe it was from your parents?"

Considering it's magical appearance, and what it had done to her - Zoe very much doubted that.

She didn’t check the notification on the strap for the rest of the night, until she was next alone – in her room and ready for bed. When she was sure she was out of ear-shot of Katie, she pressed the button curiously,

“It’s been 15 hours and 27 minutes since your last run of required distance”

She was getting used to the weirdly strict digital voice.

So far so the same… right?

“Run now to earn a reward!”

Zoe bit her lip - a plan forming in her mind for what she wanted to try tomorrow. Maybe she could make it work better for her next time...

What's Zoe's plan?
