Respect and honour

"My fair Maiden," you state standing up right, "I must protest!" you add, "I have my jousting cane," you offer waving your hand over to your horse, "If the scoundrel is so similarly equipped I propose a jousting dual!" you declare.

"What is the matter Knight?!" Roland booms rising one hand into the air while the other holds onto Miranda keeping her close, "Are you afraid that your royal training in the private quarters won't match up to that of a man of the world?" he counters, resulting in an uproar of laughter from his men.

"I fear no man scoundrel!" you retort, "I made an oath to honour and respect all people in the King's domain," you declare, "As such I will not use a fair maiden as a battle ground for righteous honour!"

"Respect and honour he says!" Roland declares as he starts to walk around the ring looking at his men, "If it is respect and honour that compels you knight," Roland states looking directly into your eyes, "Then why the disrespect towards me and my men?" he asks.

"I show little respect to you scoundrel because you are not one of the king's people," you answer flatly, "Now will thoust joust me or not?" you challenge again.
