Resistance

You walk outside the tavern, your fanged hood wrapped around your head, your hands free of your weapons as they are sheathed on your sides. You see a group of warriors ahead of you, Ashe standing next to the door.

"Some of them seem to be frustrated that you're changing the normal ways of the Syndicate." Ashe whispers into you "What do you want to do?"

"Fuck this!" that familiar voice yells out "If we can't even sample our prizes then let's burn them all!!!!" he shouts, a handful of Syndicate warriors are standing in a group, talking between themselves. The commotion is drawing a lot of other warriors and Sunriders over towards the Tavern now. Plenty of people just watching on as this group of Syndicate warriors are complaining.

"If Darien won't let us sample those cunts, then why bother keeping them alive at all??" he yells "They are all stuck in that building. Let's torch it up, burn them alive!" he shouts. "and if the women run...free game!!" he cheers, which causes his circle of friends to move around, finally revealing the warrior ahead of you. The same warrior that you thought you took care of back at Zoe's house.

"So how about a challenge?" you say loud, which causes some gasps through the herd of warriors and Sunriders "Become leader yourself and change the policies?"

"Darien..." Ashe whispers to you "You can't..."

"Hah!" the warrior gives you a weird look "Like we could do that."

"We don't need to be in Sicilian to challenge me. If you don't agree with my orders, let's fight on it."

"Uhh...I..." he stutters, not thinking you would actually do something like that.

"If you're that scared, you can even bring your few friends if you want." nodding towards the three other warriors standing next to him, most likely his three good friends. "You wish to kill the defenseless?" you begin. "How pathetic are you?"

All the Sunrider's agree with you, they know how powerful you really are. Most of the Syndicate warriors agree with you as well, except a few groups here and there.

"Darien, are you sure about this?" Ashe whispers into you once more "What if something happens...we're in the middle of a war here."

"Ashe, if there are any doubters in my army, I need to weed them out, trust me. Plus, this will show my entire army I stand behind my words. I won't let someone like this taunt and jest with my orders."

Ashe reluctantly nods at you.

Through out the entire conversation, more and more of your army continued to circle around you all, hundreds of people are now watching on, listening to the conversation that's going on, watching this handful of warriors questioning your orders.

You can tell the Syndicate warrior is now hesitant, clearly not as cocky as he once was.

"You either fall in line, or kill me." your head looking around as hundreds of warriors are now encircling you all "We don't have a plateau to fight on, but this will do. Now, what's your choice?"

He turns around towards his axe that was stuck in the ground from earlier, gripping the handle and pulling it out, he throws it over his shoulder and turns towards you "Well then, time to die! Let's get em, boys!" he nods at his friends, all three of them ready their weapons together.

Ashe immediately brings her short sword out and you just hold your arm across her body "No need." you look at her, your eyes still hidden beneath your hood.

"Four on One?!?" Ashe is shocked "Let me help you."

"Ashe, I've got this." you step forward, pulling out your gorgeous short sword and dagger combo, starting your march toward these four unfriendly Syndicate warriors.
