Residential District

The inner city is primarily composed of the Residential District. This is an area of the city where open business is not permitted, so that those well-off enough to afford a home here may live and sleep peacefully.

The streets here are straight and broad, and lit at all corners with magic gem-lamps that bathe the roads in an amber glow at night. The houses are tall and opulent, with bright paints, balconies, roof gardens and fine curtains on the windows. All the houses are different shapes and sizes, some of them being larger than others and occasionally even made in a foreign style. Some of these houses are for sale.
