Still holding Karisi's wrist in your hand, you look into her pissed off stature. "Karisi..." the name falls from your mouth "I need your help. It's important, please?" you try to come off as serious as you can.

Karisi's eyes go wide, her head tilts back a bit as she looks back at you. Her mouth parts open slightly giving you a sort of dazed and confused look.

"Please?" you ask one more

She flicks her wrist out of your grip and then squints her eyes at you "How fucking dare you." she finally lets out while shaking her head back and forth slightly "How fucking dare you." she repeats once more.

"Look Karisi, I know what I did was wrong but I wouldn't be aski..." she cuts you off.

"I did so much for you, bringing you out of the slums, training you, giving you a place to stay, food to eat, a bed to sleep in, woman to enjoy and after your little battle in Nillix you just up and leave." she shoves you against your chest, causing you to step back to brace yourself "Without a damn word!" she yells at you "Do you know how embarrassing it is to have parties get thrown and so many other lords, ladies and people from other kingdoms want to meet my warrior who stood toe to toe with Commander Rixx?" she slaps your bicep once fairly hard "How many lies I had to tell to these royal members? Lord, my warrior is still healing up in Nillix, he'll be back shortly! All the while asking why I didn't bring you back to Rathkin so our healers could tend to your wounds."

"Karisi...didn't.."

"Shut up and listen." she orders you "The balls on you to abandoned me without a word. Did you even care about me? Did you even stop to think, hey, I'm going to tell Karisi my gameplan, hopefully she will be okay with it." she rants on "Honestly, if you just told me what the hell you were going to do I would most likely be fine with it. Hell!" she throws her arms into the air "Hell, I would probably even help you with whatever the hell you wanted to do. But nooo, you finally come back to me, asking me for a favor. No, hey Karisi, how are you? No, sorry about leaving Karisi? No, I'm a dumbass Karisi, forgive me?"

"Didn't...uh...Didn't...what happened to Lilyann, didn't she come back and report to you?" you ask

"Shit...I thought she went with you. I haven't seen her since that day in Nillix I left her to watch over you." she's almost fuming at this point "But hey, it's my warrior Darien! Time to drop to my knees and give him whatever the hell he wants!" she mocks "My hero is back and needs a favor, whatever your wishes are Sir Darien!"

"Please Karisi..." you ask once more

She stays silent, just rocking her head back and forth at you with a slight frown on her face.

"I got you so much gold and fame from Nillix...you owe me!" you let out.

That shocked her. It also pissed her off even more you think.

Her mouth drops open "I..." she gulps "I owe you?" she questions "I..." she delays briefly "I owe you? Seriously? Without me you would probably be dead in the slums someplace or just beaten up still making jack shit for money trying to bet on yourself. You would still be sleeping in a dirty stench filled corner. You would be nothing. Nobody. Non-existent without me."

You really couldn't say much because what she was saying was basically true. For your five years in Rathkin you basically didn't accomplish anything, lived in the slums and the occasional brothel room when you could afford it. If it wasn't for that day Karisi brought you in, you probably would still be in that same exact spot, hoping to one day find Claire. Still, she didn't have to be such a bitch about it...
