Ren Amamiya, festival hypnosis

"Man, I can't BELIEVE you're actually being part of the talent show. It's so... Bleh..." Ryuji murmured.

"Oh come.on Ryuji! We still gotta support him. Even if the talent show is boring" Ann said with a smile

"Uh. No. No we don't. I love ya, man. But I am NOT sitting through that snooze fest." Ryuji added

"Your other option is hanging out with Mishima" Joker shrugged.

"Wha--?! I-I mean... Sure but... Oh whatever! At least I won't fall asleep with him" Ryuji grumbled as he headed out

"Hm... Perhaps I should keep an eye on him and ensure he does not get into any trouble" Yusuke mused

"That... Would be helpful" Makoto sighed

Joker was left with just the girls. Ann, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru.

"So what's your talent anyway?" Ann asked

"Hypnosis" he smirked

"Oh-ho! Not only does he change hearts, but miiiiiinds toooooo!" Futaba teased

"Futaba! Be nice. I think it's interesting" Makoto added

"Um. I believe it is starting soon. Shall we go?" Haru asked.

The group all sat down in the crowd which was... Sparce. It seemed there were only a few other groups, as well as staff chaperones hanging around. But otherwise, the gymnasium felt empty

The first two performers went on. One student singing, and being cheered on by a group of 5 in the front row. The next student did a bizarre artistic performance, with his friends watching with bated breath.

"Well... Our talent show this year was a bit minimal on the roster. But we knew this guy would need some time! So, time for a hypnotic spectacle!" The student running the show announced

Joker stepped out, being applauded by the whole crowd, but mostly the girls from the group.

"Alright. I'm gonna need a volunteer" he said with a mischievous smirk.

It dawned on the girls that they hadn't even considered this...

Futaba's eyes went wide with worry, Makoto looked at her feet, downcast. Ann seemed unbothered.

"Ooh. I wonder if he'll pick one of us" Haru said with wonder
