Chapter 8 by Brickhouse Brickhouse

Does Meril remember her damn purse this time?

Reminded at the last second

With her tanned skin a shade pinker now, Meril flexed her bare toes and started heading off back to her new home "Sweetcheeks..." She mumbled to herself quietly, making sure that damn redhead couldn't hear the envy in her voice. Now she just HAD to pay her a visit sometime, well, so she could 'get to know her neighbours' of course. No other reason at all. She'd walked about 30 or 40ft away from the vehicle when she heard that stupid sexy farmer calling her from behind.

"Hey uh, Meril...think you forgot something!" Kara yelled from her vehicle. The nude girl almost assumed she was saying that as a playful way of seeing her tits again, but she remembered that A. Kara hadn't really been actively looking, so might not have such base needs and B. She wasn't holding either her mail or her purse, with most of the important things she needed at the moment.

Scampering back, Meril flashed an awkward smile as she approached the driver side "Ah, silly me, I forgot these when you first dropped me off!" The brunette said, nervously chuckling before reeling herself in. Clearing her throat she pushed some hair out of her face and moved the purse and letters to her side to be held more comfortably "Th-thank you Kara, for the ride and being welcoming and all that..."

"It's no big deal, really. Neighbours help eachother and girls stick together, that's got to stack somehow eh?" Kara smirked, her charm washing over Meril, whether she intended to or not.

Meril did have to admit she might be making a big deal about simple neighbourly kindness, but she grew up in neighbourhoods that weren't exactly communities "Yeah...still I'd like to return the favour someday"

With her hand on her chin the workgirl let out a thoughtful sigh "Okay then, what about...why not come down to my place sometime? It's a short walk up the road" Kara gestured vaguely up the road, in the opposite direction of town "I'm in basically all the time, if not then make yourself at home, I keep the house unlocked in the day. But yeah we'll hang out, chat, maybe even find you a job, I know you said something about looking for one"

The prospect of a job peaked Meril's interest, not as much as the idea of just kind of hanging out with Kara. Of course if the job thing followed through then that 'crush' business might get tricky. Workplace relationships generally walk on thin ice, especially if it's with your boss. That being said money to be able to live is also very nice.

"Mm, sounds like an idea" The nudist said with a smile, before raising an eyebrow "Wait you keep your house unlocked while you're not there?" She asked with mild concern, in her experience unlocked doors were generally an unwise idea, especially in your house.

"Oh, a while back I got broke into by a couple of thugs" Kara began, a smirk forming as she retold the story "I was showering at the time and they made off with my savings. Unluckily for them I caught them just as they were leaving. Unluckily for me it turns out they had dirt bikes and escaped out back, they knew if they went on the road I'd just run them down" She said with a proud chuckle, slapping the side of her truck.

Meril leaned in, eager to hear about the kinds of badass things her new crush had gotten up to "Yeah but if they went out back and escaped, did they get away? Did you get the money back somehow?"

"Oh I got the money back" She flashed the nudist a sly grin, leaning back in her seat as she prepared the daring finale. "Unluckily for thise thugs my dad before he passed was the best tracker in this state, still holds all his records. He taught me pretty much everything he knew. Now, the problem with tracking is the quicker you are the better, right?" Accentuating her point with a few fitting hand gestures, she continued "So then I head off, hop over the back fence with my anti-trespasser bat over my shoulder, naked as the baby jesus going around looking at mud tracks"

Now that was an image for Meril's head, she had to admit that her mental image of badass naked tracker Kara was certainly arousing. Shaking the immediate thought out of her head she leaned in some more "And then you found them I assume? Counting your savings like some pirate's haul?"

"Basically, rest of the details are pretty boring but people around here quickly learned that if something untoward is dealt to me I will go to any lengths to put it right" To which she ended her story with a gentle smile.

The nude girl stood there in quiet awe, trying not to make the awe too obvious, of course "Well, I guess if I need anything found I'll have to let you know"

"Or if you want the quickest game of hide and go seek" Kara added with a snicker.

"Or that yes!" Meril gigged as her mind filled in the blanks without her will, imagining herself being tracked by an outrageously gorgeous redhead. Then she slowed the giggle and shyness began to take over.

Her friend on the other hand found it hilarious and let out a big charming laugh, not the overbearing kind, not a laugh that overwhemled Meril as she had her little gay disaster. A warm, charming laugh that only added fuel to the fire of that gay disaster "Sounds like fun, anyway I should let you get going Sweetcheeks, you visit anytime you want"

And with that Kara slowly drove off, leaving Meril a blushy mess, one that now she wasn't being watched, cared less about hiding how much of a blushy mess she was "What the hell just happened?" The nude woman asked out lout, shifting her weight from foot to foot, softly biting her lip. It took her a good minute to shake herself out of it and start heading up her driveway and back home.

Unlocking the door she slipped inside, taking in a deep breath and releasing. Meril felt centred in her home, it had something of a calming effect on her, maybe because she still needed to unpack. There were jobs to be done and her mind recognised that, made those thoughts a priority over those of that stupid sexy farmgirl. Meril took another deep breath...and then released.

Centred again she headed upstairs leaving her purse and mail on a side table, there was still plenty of time left in the day, so the first thing she wanted to do was get her art room set up. Upstairs she found most of the rooms were bedrooms, with a modest bathroom right next to the stairs as you get to the next floor up. The bedrooms themselves were mostly just different in their size, with the smallest obviously being quickly converted into one to say the place had more bedrooms. She was content in turning this into storage. The biggest bedroom and the one that interested her the most was also thankfully the least furnished. It was on the corner of the house so sunlight poured in from windows on two walls, and the floor was smooth oak panels, unlike the rest of the bedrooms that had carpets.

"Right in the middle, here" Meril mumbled to herself, as she padded over to the middle, gesturing vaguely. "This is where the podium will go..." One of the tools in her metaphorical toolbelt as an artist was the podium. She doubted she'd ever get a model, but she could place objects atop it to use as lighting reference. The rest of the furniture in the room would have to go, she wanted absolute space, nothing that could distract or get in the way. Meril gave the big wooden bed an experimental push before realising it might be just a tad heavy to budge, well, without persuasion at least.

Heading back downstairs Meril headed through the house and out the backdoor into the yard. The yard itself was large enough she could probably drive her van around in it, but naturally didn't want to ruin the grass. While the yard was surrounded with a fence, she knew most of the land beyond it also belonged to her. Taking that thought in she carried on towards the shed that was up against the side of the house, just within the fence's borders.

Approaching the door to her shed one thing immediately stood out to her, it was padlocked. Locked was good, that meant it had stuff in there worth being stolen, but it was also bad because she had no such key. For science Meril took hold of the padlock, which was pretty decently sized, and then tugged on it. She wasn't surprised when the lock held firm.

"Great, I'm locked out of my own damn toolshed..." The nudist grumbled and looked around, not sure what she was looking for, perhaps hope. Finding no such magical cure for locked doors, Meril simply headed back inside. She now had most of a day still left to go with not much to do, she could unpack but the wind was a bit out of her sails in that regard, she'd wanted to get her art room done first. But to get the art room done she needed tools, to get tools she'd either have to buy way too much money for a toolkit, or break into her own toolshed. Meril also considered visiting Kara, but that might make her seem a little too eager. And of course she could try going for a walk, see the local sights, get a breath of fresh air without getting hassled by the locals...

What does Meril decide to kill time with?
