How Do Things Go Next?
Remembering of Soda
Seeing his old friend, and getting intimate with her, had Carson thinking back to his old adventuring days. It had been maybe three months after the ceremony for class decision, Carson had barely gotten a handle on the spoken language enough for a conversational level when the class assignment had happened; Carson had gotten his class of Midnight Alchemist. He had been sent off to learn from the Grand Alchemist Talvar Chemsini, an elderly looking anthropomorphic lion man that seemed like he hadn’t had a proper meal in weeks but was still subsisting off of the alchemical nutrient supplements he would occasionally brew up for his own personal use. The man was sharp as a tack, and wasn’t some doddering absentminded academic, although he liked to play the part a bit too frequently out in public or when meeting with nobility and royalty. The lion man went on about how it would take years of intensive study to acclimate his mind to proper education, only for Carson to breeze through all the early stuff because it was basically grade school level stuff he had handled fairly well back during his early education, the only stuff he had marginal trouble with was a good portion of the more advanced math he would have been taught if the incident hadn’t gotten in the way of his high school education. But even that wasn’t too difficult, seeing as much of the foundational knowledge for it all was already established for him by way of the chemistry equations from his home kits he acquired just a few years prior to the incident that brought him to this world. All in all, it only took him about a year and a half to finish an education he was told should have taken at least three to five years. As an apology for ruining the fun, Carson had handed off chemical formulas for making carbonated water and flavored syrup templates to the old codger.
A few weeks after he finished his education, Carson had applied at the nearest adventuring guild to be an adventurer, it was while looking over his beginner level options when he met the people that would become his party for several years. Tilmand Shieldson, an orc Vanguard; Hetnalia Orthibane, a lion-kin Abjurer; Sultry, the deomon-kin Peace Priestess; Plicaus, the hobgoblin Saboteur; and Rilkitha, the dragon-kin Berserker. Sultry, Hetnalia, and Rilkitha were all female, with Rilkitha and Tilmand having a not so subtle romantic relationship. All three ladies had considerably voluptuous and attractive figures to them, Hetnalia in particular could be considered an exotic beauty due to her people not being seen all that often outside the Savannah and desert environments they typically called home, not to mention she had a magnificent bust and was totally caked up, and was unashamed to show it all off; half the time Carson thought she was some kind of closet exhibitionist, seeing as she regularly tended to completely forget about her attire until a good few minutes of interacting with almost anyone.
They asked him to join them, and the first mission together wasn’t anything anyone would call special, just clearing a warehouse owned by a merchant guild of pests; pests suspected to be some kind of overly large rodent or bug, but turned out to be something a bit more problematic, seven different species of slimes, some of which were actually imitating bugs and rodents in form and behavior. Turned out the slimes were a not so legal commodity that some of the merchants of the guild stored there and then promptly forgot about when the market for them all dried up while their ill-gotten cargo was in transit for storage. That was a legal nightmare and a half.
The party took some more missions, noticeably less eventful than that first outing as a group, before going on an extended trip to another community; that’s when Carson started his weekly soda summings with the group. Tilmand and Rilkitha liked the literally spicer options whenever they were made available, Sultry liked the Chocolate Cream Soda the most among the options he summoned, Hetnalia seemed to especially enjoy the basic root beer, Plicaus was the odd one out with saying he most enjoyed that coffee fish roe flavored soda Carson had accidentally summoned that one time when he was still getting a handle on controlling summoning chemical concoctions. He’s now gotten much better and can actually control his concoction summonings now, and resolved to only summon coffee and mocha flavored sodas when it came to Plicaus’s requests, he didn’t seem to mind too much, but did request to know more about that first mix with the roe flavor before everyone went their separate ways. Carson reluctantly informed the hobgoblin about the details regarding fish roe, before promptly asking him to never serve him any beverages in the future should they meet again upon their parting. The preferred options of his spicy lover companions did cause Carson to relive some unpleasant memories, buffalo wing flavor and Carne Asada flavored sodas were not that palatable to him (and the chemical breakdown was amusingly complex, but also more than a bit disgusting to Carson on a personal level, but he still appreciated it all as a soda aficionado).

Sexy Spell Sodas
An Unconventional Isekai Story
Carson Alcanus has a bit of an issue, it’s been going on for a few years now. Back when he was 15, that was seven years ago now, he got to see what it’s like to be isekaied into a world of magic and monsters. When he arrived, he was in some random town, a few months after his arrival some official looking figures arrived for the Class Assignment ritual, which takes place twice a year, and Carson surprised everyone. Carson was hoping for some kind of mage assignment, given all the magic he saw being thrown around during his time there, so he could learn some spell to get back home, but he got a secret hidden class called Midnight Alchemist instead. Carson could only think that the alchemist part was fitting, seeing as he liked messing with chemistry sets since he was little before ending up in this crazy world. When one’s class is revealed in the ceremony, a mark appears on both hands to let everyone know what your class is, which is probably why gloves are a popular accessory for people of all social standings. After the surprise wore off, the officials sent Carson to study under the best alchemical expert in the nation, a man known by his class of Grand Alchemist. After his alchemical lesson plans, which ironically had him spending more time learning magic than his instructor thought they would, Carson found that almost two whole years had gone by. He decided to register as an Adventurer, hoping that something would give him access to something to get home, or at least communicate across dimensions. His hopes didn’t pan out and he ended up in a party of other rare or unusual class wielders for another two or three years before deciding to retire. During his time there, he had accumulated a considerable amount of coin, and somehow managed to jump up to A-Rank before his first year as an adventurer. During that time as an Adventurer he discovered he could kind of recreate sodas from memory using his class abilities, but since they didn’t give any additional effects anyone who tried them they didn’t really do more than offer some reprieve from the usual experiences of travel and camping, which his companions greatly appreciated, even if he only made enough everyone once a week to make sure resources weren’t wasted too much. Using his considerable finances, he decided to make an actual facility where he could perfect his soda making skills and share his work with this new world.
