Remain quiet, this might be a test

You keep your head lowered and your mouth shut. You don't know what she would do if you asked something, and you're not about to find out. You don't know why, but the Mistress of the house looks rather scary, and you don't want to antagonize her.

After some time inspecting you, she finally stands in front of you and looks deeply into your eyes. "Hm... So, your name is Ronama?" she asks and you silently nod. "Very well. You're hired."

You stand there shocked. "I.. I am?"

"Indeed. You've shown me a great deal of your character. So, I have faith that you'll make a good maid for our Master. Now come with me, I'll show you to your living quarters."

You quietly follow the Mistress up the stairs and into a small room. "This shall be your room. You'll meet the Master tomorrow, and begin work. until that time, you are free to go and speak with the other maids to get an idea of what life here is like, or go straight to bed. You do look a bit tired."

"Thank you." you say, and she closes the door.

Your room is small, but private, and has a nice bed in it. You place the clothes you bought in the closet, and lie down on the bed. You didn't notice before, but with everything that's happened lately, you are very tired.
