Chapter 90 by Calamity_Jim

Relationships

You spent quite a bit of time that morning talking about your former incarnation. The way Morgana explained it, he was shockingly noble and kind for someone recognized as a prince among devils. In a way, it felt like the chief among the lustful was down right benevolent. Apparently, he was very loyal and dedicated to his subordinates, often putting their desires before his own. His disappearance was a shock to his followers, but most of them deserted his kingdom or defected out of fear of take over from the other princes. Among them, it was Mammon, the prince of greed, who coveted Asmodeus’ kingdom the most.

While most princes sought warfare for their own ends, it was Mammon who detested Asmodeus the most. Morgana speculated that he was the reason Asmodeus had been lost.

The whole conversation seemed like something out of some ancient poem or biblical text. Had Morgana not been so serious about it, you would probably have dismissed it as such. The fact that you were now a part of it was a cause for concern.

Still, it was reassuring to know that your former incarnation wasn’t such a bad guy. The way Morgana described him was eerily similar to you. It made you wonder how much influence the former Asmodeus had on your personality, though the thought of an identity crisis right now didn’t seem like a good idea. You resolved to accept that he may very well have helped shape the man-devil you were. The truth was that you liked who you were and the life you currently had. If Asmodeus had played a part in your life turning out this way, you might even be grateful.

The rest of the day was spent working out accommodations for the four of you in your tiny apartment. You tried to offer to sleep on the floor to give the others more space on the bed, but you were completely out voted on that front. None of your partners were willing to relent. The sleeping arrangements ended up being Morgana and Lisbeth at either side of you and Lexi practically laying on top of you. For all the touting of monster girls preferring polygamy, they were surprisingly jealous and possessive. Perhaps it was the competition that kept the emotions romantic and intense. Even so, the mass of flesh and slime on your kingsize bed was much more preferable to all that time you had spent alone on a mattress.

It was going to take time to adjust to the sleeping arrangement, and your first night was not exactly a restful one. It did give you time to think, though. As the minotaur clamped onto you, the slime had engulfed the other side, and the devil clung to your chest. Each one of them were special, and the feelings that you had for all of them troubled you. How exactly were you meant to give one hundred percent of your love and dedication to each of them? How in the hell did Asmodeus maintain a harem of over one hundred women?

The reality was that he probably didn’t. More than likely, there had to be compromises in order for a polygamous relationship to work. It would probably be helpful to continue to foster positive relationships between your partners, so that they felt a sense of family and community beyond just their relationship with you. Apparently, things had gone very well at Lisbeth and Morgana’s sleep over. The thought sparked your imagination, and you were dreamily picturing the two women ravaging each other. Your body reacted immediately.

Now was not the time for that, but you definitely would need to address that issue soon. Your lust was insatiable. Lust could easily be resolved with your partners, but their emotional well-being was a more difficult task. You did not want the women in your care to become simple sexual tools. As aromantic as it seemed, you needed a plan more so than just simple spontaneity. Leaving it as it was would likely make someone feel left out. Scheduled alone time and dates were going to be an essential part of making things work. Especially if you were going to add Cerena.

On the subject of your hellhound lover, you realized that you wanted her to join in on this pile of debauchery. You wanted Cerena. You knew from Lexi that hellhounds were lifelong mates. Since you all had engaged in that sort of activity, you knew she had bonded with you in a way that was out of her control. You could tell she was holding herself back for your sake. She was gruff but considerate. She didn’t want to pressure you as a result of something she pretty much **** you into. It didn’t feel like an obligation to you though. Your first romp may have been ****, but you had genuine feelings for her after having had more interactions since the elevator.

Cerena was a vivacious no nonsense woman with a great sense of justice and humor. She was fiercely protective of those she was close with, which now included you. Things were moving fast, but sponsoring her was definitely a priority. You had a primal urge to claim her before anyone else could. It made you wonder if the bonding they experienced with their mates affected you just as much as it affected her.

Thinking about Cerena naturally led your mind to wander to thoughts of Kiri. The mantis girl had been revealed to be your stalker, and there was reason to believe that her obsession was becoming dangerous. You couldn’t deny there was an element of danger there. You knew it, Cerena knew it, and your instincts had definitely given off warning bells. You’d seen some of what her body was like and knew enough about mantids to assume how they did things. In this world, male mantids were often decapitated and eaten after mating, and you had heard rumors that mantis girls were capable of that too. Those emerald blades were no joke either. Still, you weren’t convinced Kiri was the type to do something that ****.

She had obviously been holding herself back. Despite insect girls being the most feral of monsters, Kiri had kept herself in check around you. Yes, she was stalking you, but it seemed more like an outlet for her unchecked emotions. You needed to confront her, but in a way that was sensitive to her situation. Maybe it was Asmodeus within you, but sex seemed to be the solution. Kiri was pent up and frustrated. Frustration had its limits, and the scope of her more recent messages was more violent. Nipping this problem in the bud seemed like the best way to avoid escalation. Approaching her also helped you take control of the situation. All that left was the how and when.

You considered trying to catch her in the act of sending you a letter, but that might not result in the response you wanted. If she panicked, she might attack you. You needed to be the one who made the first move. You’d learned your lesson with Cerena in the elevator. Coming onto her first might eliminate her thought that she needed to **** the situation. You devised a plan in your head.
