An Ending of Sorts

A season later, you find yourself alone at the bow of a nimble Greenish steamer. The House of Veils is not yet in sight, but the Sea is calm and the new Thymsen and Crop engine purrs with considerable speed. The Enterprising Accountant had known about your reputation and took you on no questions asked. He leaves most of the day-to-day to you and has assured you that he does not plan on returning to Barenhaven for a year at least. It seems he too has unfinished business or outstanding debts.

And sometimes you wonder. If you missed an opportunity. If you might have done better. But then the next port beckons on the horizon and the waves lure you away with the next adventure. Best you keep cumbersome responsibilities to a minimum. Best to just steam across the Sea of Mists.
