Chapter 87 by Alibara Alibara

What's next?

Registration

"The Family Gathering's airship race with commence at noon." the receptionist says. "Audience members, please form a line to the right. Teams entering the race, please complete your registration here."

The venue is always overflowing with people.

"Rumour has it there are a lot of new teams entering the race this year."

"Oh...? Then there may well be an unexpected twist. One of those rookie teams might hit the jackpot. Whoa, is that boy naked?"

I have been naked a lot of times but this is still pretty embarrassing.

"Well, well, isn't it lively? Folks with nothing better to do coming in from all over the country. How nice." Lupin says.

"Hmph. Half of those people are criminals. There certainly are some suspicious-looking faces in the mix here." Van helping says.

"Oof... I'm getting a little nervous..." Victoria says.

"Ahah, it's not good to fixate on victory. I'll happy to join this race just to compete with you all as a team." Doreen says.

"We'll not hear just to be together. We need to win." I say.

"Pardon me, you're right. I suppose I was too excited." Doreen says.

Excited voices can be heard from all over.

We make our way through the crowd and arrive at the receptionist desk.

"We'd like to register our team." I say.

"Of course. Please show me which of the airships moored at the landing field is yours." the receptionist says.

"Oh, well, um..." I say.

"Sorry, but our airship isn't here yet. We're supposed to meet here." Victoria says.

"I see... Unfortunately, if you don't have an airship present, I can't register you. Will you have it here by 11 o'clock?" the receptionist asks.

"What? Why 11? I thought the race started at noon." Van Helsing says.

"Yes, the race does start at noon. But we close registration a hour before the race is to begin." the receptionist says.

"My, my... We may be in some trouble." Doreen says.

"This isn't good. Nemo probably thinks that the cutoff time is noon... We're in a bit of a predicament." Lupin says.

"I-I'll go back to the mansion and tell Nemo." I say.

"It's no use. It'll take you that long to get back to the mansion." Van Helsing says.

"What should we do, then? Is there any way we can contact her...?" I ask.

"If only we had an aether communication device...but we don't have that sort of cutting-edge equipment at the mansion." Victoria says.

"...If there's nothing we can do, there's no reason to panic. All we can do is wait." Van Helsing says.

"We just need to keep believing in Nemo." Lupin says. "In the meanwhile, we should all take turns spanking Caleb."

I nod at Lupin's words, and put myself over her knee.

As Lupin begins to spank me, I feel a mix of embarrassment and arousal.

The sound of the spanking echoes through the crowd, causing a few heads to turn.

Despite the humiliation, I can't help but feel a sense of excitement.

As Lupin's hand smacks against my bare skin, I feel a rush of heat spread across my face, and my embarrassment deepens. The crowd around us begins to murmur, their whispers and snickers weaving together into a disapproving hum, but Lupin doesn't hesitate, her spanks growing firmer and more insistent. With each smack of Lupin's hand, I feel a jolt of pleasure that courses through my body.

The crowd around us seems to grow larger, their eyes fixed on the spectacle before them.

Despite my embarrassment, I can't help but feel a sense of exhilaration. As the spanking continues, I feel my cheeks grow warm and my breath become ragged. The pain is intense, but it's mixed with a strange sense of pleasure that I can't quite put my finger on.

Ten minutes go by.

"I should take over spanking Caleb." Van Helsing takes over, and her spanks are even harder than Lupin's.

The crowd's murmurs grow louder, and I can feel their stares on my exposed skin.

I can feel my face turning a deep shade of red, and my heart races as the spanking continues.

After a thirty more minutes, Van Helsing stops, and I can hear the crowd's murmurs die down.

I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself, and then I hear the receptionist's voice. "Registration closes in thirty minutes. Any teams that have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible."

That's easy for them to say.

"I wonder how Nemo's doing..." I say.

"This isn't looking so good." Victoria says.

"Well, at least this will be Nemo's last day on Earth. That's a silver lining." Van Helsing says.

"Van Helsing, y-you can't--!" I say.

"C'mon, Nemo! You can make it!" Lupin says.

"I'll take over Caleb's spanking." Victoria takes over spanking me, her hand connecting with my skin with a loud smack.

The crowd around us gasps, and I can feel my face turning a deep shade of red. Despite the embarrassment, I can't help but feel a sense of arousal as Victoria's hand continues to spank me.

The sound of her hand connecting with my skin echoes through the crowd, and I can feel the heat spreading across my face.

The spanking continues for several minutes, and I can feel my heart racing as the pain and pleasure mix together.

As Victoria's hand continues to spank me, I can feel my body begin to tense up.

"I'll finish up spanking Caleb." Doreen's hand takes over, her spanks landing with a rhythmic intensity that sends shivers down my spine.

The crowd's murmurs grow louder, their eyes fixed on the spectacle before them, and I can feel their collective gaze like a weight on my skin.

As Doreen's hand connects with my flesh, I let out a faint gasp, the sound lost in the din of the excited chatter and the creaking of the airships above. As Doreen's hand continues to spank me, I feel my body begin to tremble, the sensation of her palm connecting with my skin sending waves of pleasure and pain coursing through my veins.

The crowd around us grows more restless, their murmurs and snickers growing louder as they take in the spectacle of my naked, spanked form.

Victoria, Lupin, and Van Helsing stand around me, their eyes fixed on my reddening skin as they watch Doreen's hand rise and fall in a rhythmic motion, their faces a mix of amusement and arousal.

"Oh, as I recall... Nemo is an extremely capable engineer, but isn't she usually a bit lax on time?" Doreen asks.

"D-Doreen! That's not helping! Saying that right now is only making the rest of us more anxious!" Victoria says.

"Nemooooooo... C'mon... Please... I believe in you!" Lupin says.

"Just to make sure... If we can't join win the race, we're going to simply steal the prize, correct?" Van Helsing asks.

"I wouldn't bet on that, as we would be making enemies out of both the major crime families and the Yard..." Doreen says.

"With the current state of things, it still seems to be our most realistic option." Van Helsing says.

And another ten minutes go by. Everyone agrees that I've been spanked enough.

"Er... If you're going to register, then you really need to show me your airship now." the receptionist says.

"I-it'll be here soon! I promise! Right, Lupin? Can you just wait a little longer?!" Victoria asks.

"Yeah, sorry, but...I'm starting to lose faith!" Lupin says.

"It's strange to so confidently say that you're losing confidence..." Van Helsing says.

"Don't say things like that. Nemo will be here soon--!" I say.

Just then, something blocks the light above us, turning the ground dark for a moment.

"Oh? What's this...?" Doreen asks. We hear a sharp whistle.

I look up trying not to get my hopes up.

"The wait is over! Ladies the gentlemen, the star has arrived!" An airship passes by low overhead, with Nemo waving at us from it.

"That's our airship!" Victoria says.

"I see. I'll register you for the race. Please be at the landing dock 20 minutes prior to the race, and be ready for it." the receptionist says.

"I... I'm so glad..." I say.

"Ahah, I'm happy she made it." Doreen says.

"I believed in her! Good job, Nemo!" Lupin says.

"You were just saying that you stopped believing in her... Either way, we don't have to bother stealing now." Van Helsing says.

"I'm so glad she made it." I'm curious, though... "Hey, Lupin? Where did you get that airship from in the first place?"

"Hm? Oh, I just-" Lupin says.

"What the-- That's our airship!"

I turn around at this shout to see a man with a hook for a hand looking up at the airship with his mouth agape.

"Crap..." For some reason, Lupin ducks behind me.

"Lupin, did you steal that man's ship?" I ask.

"Ehhh... Pretty much. They're sky pirates who were using that ship to attack travellers and steal from other airships." Lupin says.

"Hmm. So we get an airship, and Britain becomes much safer. That's what I call killing two birds with one stone." Doreen says.

"Exactly... But if those guys are here, does that mean they're entering the race?" Lupin asks.

"So it seems. It looks like they've entered a more modern ship. If they had two, why didn't you steal the better one?" Van Helsing asks.

"Give me a break! When I went out to steal our ship, I didn't have that sort of information!" Lupin says.

"Captain! Let's go find whoever registered it and show 'em who's boss!"

"What? ...That's no good, Hands. Fighting is prohibited here." A captain with a wooden leg says. He has a parrot on his shoulder.

"Since when were we scared of a little rule like that, Captain Silver? We've got to be strong!"

"Dolt... It's one thing to be passionate, but this is a den of the underworld. If we break the rules here, we're done for."

"I-I see... That doesn't sound good..."

"...It's probably best if they don't find out we're the owners of that airship." I say.

"They're no match against us...but we want as little trouble as possible. Make sure we don't do anything to give us away." Van Helsing says.

"Bwahaha! How do you like it?! This amazing ship is the product of the Incredible Captain Nemo!" Nemo roars with laughter from the ship.

"Ah..." I say.

"...Of course she did that." Victoria says.

"Nemo, eh? Heheh... We'll get you good, Nemo."

"Fantastic. Now the sky pirates will definitely target us." Van Helsing says.
