Alastia is a desert country surrounded on all sides by highly impassible geography making it exceedingly isolated from both other peoples and rainfall. It's capital city which also shares the countries name is home to some five hundred thousand women with just under half that amount again spread out across the other two main cities of Timber fort in the North and Danset in the West. Farms populate the main river's reverse delta known as the Goddess's Grace and other settlements along it's banks helping the main road's trade supply with the trade to the capital city.

Split Peak sits in the North West corner of the country between the aggressive Northern Kingdoms of men and Alastia. It's Impact on the land causing great chasms and crags which help make a natural barrier between the two sides. All nations avoid the area to this day as it remains unnaturally cold and disappearances have led to rumours of it being haunted making it a good refuge for outlaws.
